<p>The European Union has agreed to impose new sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine. The new measures target more officials and organizarions accused of supporting the war, spreading propaganda, and supplying drones. Asset freezes were imposed on 3 more Russian banks, as well as on Iranian organizations that were deemed reponsible for supplying Russian forces with drones used during the war. The sanctions were proposed several weeks earlier, but only adopted after the 27-nation bloc finally came to an agreement over their exact makeup.
