Transport minister Kostas Karamanlis has resigned, saying he felt it was his duty to step down as he says, a basic indication of repect for the memory of the people who died so unfairly. Through Wednesday, rescuers turned to cranes and heavy machinery to start moving large pieces of the trains, revealing more bodies and dismembered remains. One rescuer says crews have been very careful trying to disentangle steel, sheet metal, and other material that has been twisted together by crash. The cause was not immediately clear, but the stationmaster in the nearby city of Larissa has been arrested. I'm Charles de Ledesma.
