Bible Reading - Luke 17:22~29

17:22 Then he said to his disciples, 그래서 그가 제자들에게 말했다.

 "The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. 때가 오면 너희는 인자가 나타나는 날 중 하루를 보고 싶어 하겠지만, 보지 못할 것이다.

17:23 Men will tell you, 'There he is!' or 'Here he is!'

사람들이 너희에게 " 그가 거기 혹은 여기 있다."고 말할 것이다. 

Do not go running off after them. 그들을 쫓아가지 마라.

17:24 For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

인자는 그 날에 번개와 같아서 하늘을 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 밝히 비출 것이다.

17:25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

그러나 우선 그는 많은 것들로 고난 받아야만 하며 이 세대에게 거부당해야만 한다.

17:26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, 그것은 마치 노아의 날에 있었던 것처럼

so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 그래서 또한 인자에 날에도 있을 것이다. 

17:27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. 노아가 방주에 들어간 날까지 사람들은 먹고 마시고 결혼하고 결혼식을 올렸다.

Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 그때 홍수가 나서 그들 모두를 멸하였다.

17:28 "It was the same in the days of Lot. 그것은 롯의 날들에 일어났던 것과 같았다.

People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.

사람들은 먹고 마시고 사고 팔고 심고 세우고 있었다.

17:29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 그러나 롯이 소돔을 떠났던 그 날에 불과 유황이 하늘에서 비오듯 떨어져서 그것들을 파괴했다.
