태국 외교부, 북한의 연평도 포격 도발 관련 추가성명 발표

태국 외교부는 11.25(목) 북한의 연평도 포격 도발 관련 추가성명을 발표한 바, 주요내용은 아래와 같습니다.

○ 태국은 연평도 포격 도발을 심각히 우려하며, 인명 피해 및 연평도의 무고한 민간인들에 대한 살상을 초래한 포격을 개탄함. 태국은 국제법과 유엔헌장을 위반하는 무력사용 및 무력사용의 위협에 반대함.

(Thailand is gravely concerned about the Yeonpyeong Island incident on 23 November 2010 and deplores the artillery shelling that caused the loss of lives and casualties as well as harms inflicted upon innocent civilians of the Yeonpyeong Island as a result of this action. Thailand opposes the use of force or the threat of the use of force in violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.)

○ 태국은 한반도와 지역 전체의 평화 및 안보에 부정적 영향을 끼칠 긴장 고조를 피하기 위해 최대한 자제해 줄 것을 강력히 촉구함. 이 점에서 태국은 현 상황이 평화적이고 외교적인 수단을 통해 해결되기를 희망함.

(Thailand strongly urges maximum restraint in order to avoid an escalation of tension which would adversely affect the peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and the region as a whole. In this regard, Thailand reiterates its desire to see this situation be resolved through peaceful and diplomatic means.)
