누가복음4장 말씀입니다.

1. 예수님께서 [성령]님으로 충만하여 요르단에서 돌아오시고 [성령]에게 인도를 받아 광야로 들어가사

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2. 사십 일을 마귀에게 시험을 받으시더라. 그 날들에 그분께서 아무것도 잡숫지 아니하시더니 그 날들이 끝나매 그 뒤에 그분께서 주리시니라.

Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

3. 마귀가 그분께 이르되, 네가 만일 [하나님]의 [아들]이거든 이 돌에게 명령하여 그것이 빵이 되게 하라, 하니

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4. 예수님께서 그에게 응답하여 이르시되, 기록된바, 사람이 빵으로만 살 것이 아니요, [하나님]의 모든 말씀으로 살 것이라, 하였느니라, 하시더라.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

5. 또 마귀가 그분을 데리고 높은 산으로 올라가 순식간에 세상의 모든 왕국들을 그분께 보여 주며

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6. 마귀가 그분께 이르되, 이 모든 권능과 그 왕국들의 영광을 내가 네게 주리라. 그것이 내게 넘겨졌으므로 누구든지 내가 원하는 자에게 그것을 주리라.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7. 그러므로 네가 만일 내게 경배하면 모두 네 것이 되리라, 하매

If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. 

8. 예수님께서 그에게 응답하여 이르시되, 사탄아, 너는 내 뒤로 물러가라. 기록된바, 너는 [주] 네 [하나님]께 경배하고 오직 그분만을 섬길지니라, 하였느니라, 하시더라.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

9. 그가 또 그분을 데리고 예루살렘으로 가서 성전 꼭대기에 그분을 세우고 그분께 이르되, 네가 만일 [하나님]의 [아들]이거든 여기서 뛰어내리라.

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10. 기록된바, 그분께서 자신의 천사들에게 너에 대한 책무를 주사 너를 지키게 하시리니

For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11. 그들이 자기 손으로 너를 받들어 언제라도 네 발이 돌에 부딪히지 아니하게 하리로다, 하였느니라, 하매

And in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

12. 예수님께서 응답하여 그에게 이르시되, 너는 [주] 네 [하나님]을 시험하지 말라, 하였느니라, 하시더라.

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

13. 마귀가 모든 시험을 마치고 한동안 그분을 떠나니라.

And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

14. 예수님께서 [성령]의 권능을 입고 갈릴리로 돌아오시매 그분의 명성이 주변 온 지역에 두루 퍼지니라.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

15. 그분께서 그들의 회당들에서 가르치시며 모든 사람에게 영광을 받으시더라.

And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

16. 그분께서 자기가 자라난 나사렛에 가사 늘 하시던 대로 안식일에 회당에 들어가 읽으려고 서시니

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17. 섬기는 자가 대언자 이사야의 책을 그분께 넘겨드리거늘 그분께서 그 책을 펴서 이렇게 기록된 데를 찾으시니라. 일렀으되,

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18. [주]의 [영]께서 내게 임하셨으니 이는 그분께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자들에게 복음을 선포하게 하셨기 때문이라. 그분께서 나를 보내신 것은 마음이 상한 자들을 고치며 포로 된 자들에게 구출을, 눈먼 자들에게 다시 보게 함을 선포하고 상처 입은 자들을 자유하게 하며

The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19. [주]의 받아 주시는 해를 선포하게 하려 하심이라, 하였더라.

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20. 그분께서 책을 덮어 섬기는 자에게 다시 주시고 앉으시매 회당에 있던 자들의 눈이 다 그분에게 고정되거늘

And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21. 그분께서 그들에게 말씀하기 시작하시되, 이 성경 기록이 이 날 너희 귀에 성취되었느니라, 하시니

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

22. 모두가 그분에 대해 증언하고 그분의 입에서 나온 은혜로운 말씀들에 놀라서 이르되, 이 사람은 요셉의 아들이 아니냐? 하더라.

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Josephs son?

23. 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 너희가 분명히, 의사여, 너 자신을 고치라, 한 이 격언을 내게 말하며, 우리가 들은바 네가 가버나움에서 행한 모든 일을 여기 네 고향에서도 행하라, 하리라, 하시고

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

24. 또 이르시되, 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 어떤 대언자도 자기 고향에서는 인정받지 못하느니라.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

25. 그러나 내가 너희에게 진실을 말하노니, 엘리야 시대에 삼 년 육 개월 동안 하늘이 닫혀 온 땅에 두루 큰 기근이 들었을 때에 이스라엘에 과부가 많이 있었으되

But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

26. 엘리야가 그들 중 아무에게도 보내어지지 아니하고 오직 시돈의 도시 사렙다에 사는 한 과부 여인에게만 보내어졌으며

But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, [a city] of Sidon, unto a woman [that was] a widow.

27. 또 선지자 엘리사 때에 이스라엘에 나병 환자가 많이 있었으되 그들 중 아무도 정결하게 되지 못하고 오직 시리아 사람 나아만만 정결하게 되었느니라, 하시니라.

And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

28. 회당에 있던 모든 사람들이 이 말들을 듣고 진노가 가득하여

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

29. 일어나서 그분을 도시 밖으로 밀어내어 자기들의 도시가 세워진 산의 낭떠러지까지 끌고 가서 거꾸로 떨어뜨리려 하되

And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. 

30. 그분께서는 그들의 한가운데를 지나서 자기 길로 가시니라.

But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

31. 그분께서 갈릴리의 도시 가버나움에 내려오사 여러 안식일에 그들을 가르치시매

And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

32. 그들이 그분의 가르침에 깜짝 놀라니 이는 그분의 말씀에 권능이 있었기 때문이더라.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

33. 회당에 부정한 마귀의 영이 들린 사람이 있었는데 그가 큰 소리로 소리를 지르며

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

34. 이르되, 나사렛 예수님이여, 우리를 홀로 두소서. 우리가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있나이까? 우리를 멸하러 오셨나이까? 나는 당신이 누구신 줄 아노니 [하나님]의 거룩한 이시니이다, 하매

Saying, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee, [thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. 

35. 예수님께서 그를 꾸짖어 이르시되, 잠잠하고 그에게서 나오라, 하시니 그 마귀가 그를 한가운데서 넘어뜨리고 그에게서 나오되 그를 상하게 하지는 아니하니라.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

36. 그들이 다 심히 놀라며 자기들끼리 말하되, 이것이 어떠한 말씀이냐! 그가 권위와 권능을 가지고 부정한 영들에게 명령하니 그들이 나가는도다, 하더라.

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word [is] this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

37. 그분의 명성이 그 지방 주변의 모든 곳으로 퍼지니라.

And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

38. 그분께서 일어나 회당에서 나오사 시몬의 집에 들어가시니라. 시몬의 아내의 어머니가 중한 열병에 걸렸으므로 그들이 그녀를 위하여 그분께 간청하매

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simons house. And Simons wifes mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

39. 그분께서 서서 그녀를 내려다보시고 열병을 꾸짖으시니 병이 그녀에게서 떠나고 즉시 그녀가 일어나 그들을 섬기더라.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

40. 이제 해질 무렵에 그들이 다 갖가지 질병으로 앓는 자들을 그분께 데려오니 그분께서 그들 모두에게 안수하사 그들을 고치시니라.

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

41. 마귀들도 많은 사람에게서 나가며 소리 질러 이르되, 당신은 [하나님]의 [아들] 그리스도시니이다, 하매 그분께서

그들을 꾸짖으사 그들이 말하는 것을 허락하지 아니하시니 이는 그분께서 그리스도인 줄을 그들이 알았기 때문이더라.

And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking [them] suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. 

42. 날이 밝으매 그분께서 떠나사 외딴 곳으로 가시니 사람들이 그분을 찾다가 그분께 와서 그분을 붙들어 그분이 자기들을 떠나지 못하게 하매

And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

43. 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 내가 반드시 다른 도시들에서도 [하나님]의 왕국을 선포하여야 하리니 이런 까닭으로 내가 보내어졌노라, 하시고

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

44. 갈릴리의 회당들에서 선포하시니라.

And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
