데미레이 오럴의 찍은 더비셔의 어퍼 도브 밸리에 있는 이 파크하우스 힐의 사진이 고전적인 전망 부문에서 우승했다.

올해의 풍경 사진작가 상은 사진을 통해 영국 풍경에 대한 참여를 유도하는 것을 목표로 한다. 우리는 모든 부문의 우승자를 살펴본다.

1. Gannets Overhead, Thomas Easterbrook – winner, youth black and white

2. Spring Hares, Thomas Easterbrook – winner, youth your view

블레이드 러너, 칼 콜 - 청소년 도시의 생활 부문

겨울 밤에 최근 신축된 고층 빌딩.

♧ 《서기 2019 블레이드 러너》(Blade Runner)는 1982년 미국에서 제작된 SF 액션 스릴러 영화이다. 리들리 스콧(Ridley Scott) 감독의 작품이며, 필립 K. 딕 (Philip K. Dick)의 1968년 소설 《안드로이드는 전기양을 꿈꾸는가?》(Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?)를 원작으로 하였다. 이른바 사이버펑크, 테크 누아르 영화의 시초 격인 작품이다. 1993년 이 영화는 미국 의회도서관에 의해 문화적으로, 역사적으로, 미적으로 중요성을 인정받아 미국 국립영화등기부에 선정, 보존되었다.

I’d conceived this image in my head before arriving on location and had checked the train departure time from Loch Awe. 나는 현장에 도착하기 전에 이 이미지를 머릿속에 떠올렸고, 어(Awe) 호수에서 기차 출발 시간을 확인했다. 기차가 연착되었고 저녁이 너무 빨리 어두워질 것이라고 생각했지만, 기차는 마침 시간에 맞춰 어둠 속에서 나타났다.

7. Windmill in the Mist, Itay Kaplan – winner, historic Britain

I had to travel for work, so I decided to start very early to capture sunrise. Due to fog forecast, I decided to visit a well-known woodland nearby, but on my way, I realised that I forgot my hiking boots, so woodland wouldn’t work. Luckily, I always have a plan B, so I added another 10 minutes to my drive to visit this beautiful windmill and capture this photo. # Photograph: Itay Kaplan/Landscape photographer of the year 2022

안개 속의 풍차, 아이테이 캐플런 - 역사적인 영국 부문, 우승작

나는 일 때문에 여행을 가야 했기 때문에 일출을 찍기 위해 아주 일찍 출발하기로 결정했다. 안개 예보 때문에 근처에 유명한 삼림 지대를 방문하기로 했는데, 가는 길에 등산화를 잊어버려서 삼림 지대를 걸어갈 수 없다는 것을 깨달았다. 운 좋게도, 나는 항상 계획 B를 가지고 있어서, 이 아름다운 풍차를 방문하고 이 사진을 찍기 위해 10분을 더 운전했다.

8. Oh! Limpet Games, Simon Turnbull – winner, your view

I love finding little details in nature. I discovered this scene wandering along the beautiful Devon coast. The rock formation with its intriguing lines and colours provided a wonderful composition, the limpets adding story and interest, playfully sliding down the gully like an Olympic bobsleigh team. # Photograph: Simon Turnbull/Landscape photographer of the year 2022

10. Souls Tied, Paul Killeen – winner, black and white

This is a very poignant and personal image. A good friend of my wife’s sadly passed away in 2021. Lynsey was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2015. When diagnosed, she was informed that she would be lucky to see Christmas that same year. However, Lynsey bravely battled the cancer for five and a half years before she passed on 11 April 2021. This image was made on 14 April 2021, the morning of Lynsey’s funeral. 얽힌 영혼(靈魂), 폴 킬린 - 흑백사진 부문, 우승작

이것은 매우 가슴 아프고 개인적인 이미지이다. 아내의 좋은 친구가 2021년에 안타깝게도 세상을 떠났다. 린지는 2015년 10월 뇌종양 진단을 받았다. 진단을 받았을 때, 그녀는 같은 해에 크리스마스를 볼 수 있어서 행운이라고 통보받았다. 하지만 린지는 5년 반 동안 용감하게 암과 싸워 2021년 4월 11일에 세상을 떠났다. 이 사진은 2021년 4월 14일 린지의 장례식 날 아침에 촬영되었다. 두 마리의 새가 내 구도에 날아드는 것을 보자마자, 나는 즉시 린지와 그녀의 남편인 사이먼을 떠올렸다.

11. Ascension, Demiray Oral – winner, classic view

I knew thunderstorms were forecast, so when I saw their path alongside the windows of sunshine and where this would break through on the relevant weather apps, I decided I’d go and wait for a rainbow to appear at one of my favourite locations. Whilst I wasn’t surprised when it did, I still could not believe what unfolded in front of me. The apparition of the rainbow was wonderful, but the light sweeping across the Dragon’s Back was just sensational ... 나는 뇌우가 예보되어 있다는 것을 알고 있었기 때문에, 햇빛의 창문과 관련된 날씨 앱에서 그들의 경로를 보았을 때, 나는 가서 내가 가장 좋아하는 장소 중 한 곳에서 무지개가 나타날 때까지 기다리기로 결심했다. 그것이 일어났을 때 나는 놀라지 않았지만, 여전히 내 앞에 펼쳐진 것을 믿을 수 없었다. 무지개의 출현은 훌륭했지만 용의 등을 휘감는 빛은 감동적이었다 ... 잊지 못할 스릴 넘치는 오후였다.

12. Brecon in Winter, Will Davies – overall winner

Dawn sunlight warms up a winter’s morning in the Brecon Beacons. This image was taken from the Pen-y-Crug hillfort, which provides a spectacular panorama of Brecon and the surrounding mountains. On this December morning, sunlight broke through a clearing snowstorm, adding a wonderful burst of warmth and colour to the scene. 새벽 햇살이 웨일스 중부 포이스주 브레컨 비컨의 겨울 아침을 따뜻하게 한다. 이 사진은 브레컨과 주변 산의 멋진 전경을 제공하는 펜와이크러그 언덕 요새에서 찍은 것이다. 이 12월 아침에 맑은 눈보라를 뚫고 햇빛이 쏟아져 들어와, 그 광경에 멋진 따뜻함과 색채를 더했다. 나는 햇빛이 비치는 들판과 멀리 눈 덮인 언덕을 압축하는 것을 돕기 위해 망원렌즈를 사용했다.
