The Lord has done great things for us.

Friends, when our beloved ones or our friends do something special for us. We give them thanks. Sometime, we tell others and show our gratitude for them. Today, in the scripture we can see the Lord has done great things for you and me. What should be our response? What should we do?

Psalms 126 : 1 & 3

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

Brothers and sisters, when people do good things. We give them thanks but our Lord God is doing great things in our lives daily. What should we do? Do we give thanks or sit silently, or tell others?

1st. Thessalonians 5 : 18 ~ give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Psalms 98 : 4 ~ 6 (Adam & Eve never gave thanks)

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord

with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast

of the ram’s horn shout for joy before the Lord, the King.

Brothers and sisters, today let us see the great things, what God has done in our lives.

1. God saved us from all other nations.

The first greatest thing what we’ve to know that Jesus saved us from all other nations. Friends, with our knowledge, science, technology or religions we can’t save us. Only Jesus, the Son of God save us.

Luke 2 : 10 ~ 11

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you Good News that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.

John 3 : 16

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,

that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Acts 4 : 12

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name

under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Let us give thanks that God saved us from the fire of hell & gave us an eternal life through Jesus.

2. God is always with us.

Second greatest thing what we can see God is always with us. We knew Muhammad’s grave is in Saudia, all other leaders or the founders of the religions are dead & they are all in graves. But the grave of Jesus is empty. He is no more in grave. He is risen – Indeed He is risen. Cause He is risen. So He is with us, all the days of our lives God is with us. He never leave us nor forsake us.

Matthew 1 : 23

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they

will call Him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Joshua 1 : 9 (Use your name instead of you)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid;

do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

God never gave this command to Joshua. He is giving this command to you and me. He’s with us.

Let’s greet each other with this “God is with you. Wherever you go God is with you”. Amen

3. Slavery turned into Son-ship.

3rd. greatest thing God has done for you & me. We were the slaves of sin & death. Jesus turn our slavery into Son-ship. Jesus gave us right to call God the Father. We’re the sons & daughters of God.

Galatians 4 : 6 ~ 7

Because you are His sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who

calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child;

and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir.

Matthew 6 : 9

This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

Jesus taught that whenever, wherever we pray. We can call God the Father. We are the children of God the Father. Children can reach to Father anytime, anywhere. Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Jews all other religions are having bondage of time. But Jesus broke all the bonds and made us children of God.

4. Jesus is praying for us.

As we learned a while ago, all the prophets, disciples, and founder of the religions dead & finished. There dead bodies are in grave but our Lord Jesus the Son of God raised from deads and He is at the right of God the Father. And Jesus is praying for His followers. He is praying for you and me.

Romans 8 : 34

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died more than that,

who was raised to life is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Jesus not only praying in heaven. He prayed during His earthly ministry too.

Luke 22 : 31 ~ 32

“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you,

Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Brothers and sisters, remember Jesus is praying for our faith that Satan do not demolish our faith.

5. Jesus by Himself coming to take us.

Last and final thing what God has done for us that Jesus by Himself coming to take us home.

John 14 : 1 ~ 3

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. My Father’s house

has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to

prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you,

I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.

We can go with Him, if we will obey His commands and live Godly lives on this earth.

John 14 : 15 - 16 ~ If you love Me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father,

& He will give you another Advocate to help you & be with you forever

Conclusion :-

Brothers and sisters, remember “The Lord has done great things not for Israelites only. He is still doing great things for us in this Era.” Amen. There are many foreigners who want to come to Korea. I know many who gave money to brokers. They spent lots of money but still back in home towns but we’re here in Korea. You believe it or not, it’s a great thing, that we’re in here in Korea.

Dear brothers and sisters, If you want to see great things in your lives.

Don’t complain just give thanks & great things will follow you.

여호와께서 우리를 위하여 큰일을 행하셨으니

사랑하는 사람이나 친구가 우리를 위해 어떤 일을 했을 때 우리는 그들에게 감사합니다. 때로는 다른 사람에게 말하고 그들에게 감사의 마음을 보이기도 합니다. 오늘, 본문 말씀에서 주님께서 여러분과 저를 위해 큰일을 행하셨음을 볼 수 있습니다. 우리의 반응은 어떠해야 할까요? 우리는 무엇을 해야 할까요?

시편 126 : 1, 3

여호와께서 시온의 포로를 돌려보내실 때에 우리는 꿈꾸는 것 같았도다.

여호와께서 우리를 위하여 큰일을 행하셨으니 우리는 기쁘도다.

형제자매 여러분, 사람들이 좋은 일을 할 때 우리는 그들에게 감사하는데 우리 주

하나님이 우리 삶에 날마다 큰일을 행하실 때 우리는 어떻게 해야 할까요?

감사합니까 아니면 조용히 앉아있습니까, 다른 사람에게 말합니까?

데살로니가전서 5 : 18 ~ 범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라.

시편 98 : 4 ~ 6 (아담과 하와는 감사하지 않았습니다)

온 땅이여 여호와께 즐거이 소리칠지어다 소리 내어 즐겁게 노래하며 찬송할지어다 수금으로 여호와를 노래하라 수금과 음성으로 노래할지어다 나팔과 호각 소리로 왕이신 여호와 앞에 즐겁게 소리칠지어다.

형제자매 여러분, 오늘 하나님께서 우리 삶에 행하신 큰일을 알아봅시다.

1. 하나님은 다른 모든 민족으로부터 우리를 구원하셨습니다.

우리가 알아야 할 첫 번째 큰일은 예수께서 모든 다른 민족으로부터 우리를 구원하신 것입니다. 지식, 과학, 기술이나 종교로는 우리를 구원할 수 없습니다. 오직 하나님의 아들이신 예수만이 우리를 구원합니다.

누가복음 2 : 10 ~ 11

천사가 이르되 무서워하지 말라 보라 내가 온 백성에게 미칠 큰 기쁨의 좋은 소식을

너희에게 전하노라 오늘 다윗의 동네에 너희를 위하여 구주가 나셨으니 곧 그리스도 주시니라.

요한복음 3 : 16

하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는

그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라.

사도행전 4 : 12 ~~ 이로써는 구원을 받을 수 없나니 천하 사람 중에 구원을

받을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이라 하였더라.

하나님께서 지옥 불에서 우리를 구하신 것과 예수를 통해 우리에게 영생을 주셨음을 감사합시다.

2. 하나님은 항상 우리와 함께 하십니다.

우리가 알 수 있는 두 번째 큰일은 하나님이 항상 우리와 함께 하신다는 것입니다. 마호메트의 무덤이 사우디아라비아에 있다는 것을 우리는 알고 종교의 모든 지도자들이나 창시자는 죽었고 그들은 모두 무덤 속에 있습니다. 하지만 예수의 무덤은 비어있습니다. 그분은 더 이상 무덤에 계시지 않습니다. 그분은 부활하셨습니다. 정말로 그분은 부활하셨습니다. 그분은 부활하셨기 때문에 우리와 함께 계시고 우리의 평생 동안 하나님은 우리와 함께 하십니다. 그분은 우리를 떠나지도 버리지도 않으십니다.

마태복음 1 : 23 ~~ 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름은 임마누엘이라

하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라.

여호수아 1 : 9 (‘너’ 대신에 여러분의 이름을 넣으십시오)

내가 네게 명령한 것이 아니냐 강하고 담대하라 두려워하지 말며 놀라지

말라 네가 어디로 가든지 네 하나님 여호와가 너와 함께 하느니라 하시니라.

하나님은 이 명령을 여호수아에게만 하지 않으셨습니다. 이 명령을 여러분과 저에게

하셨습니다. 그분이 우리와 함께 하십니다. 이렇게 서로 인사합시다.

“하나님이 당신과 함께 하십니다. 당신이 가는 곳마다 하나님이 당신과 함께 하십니다.” 아멘.

3. 노예신분을 아들로 바꾸셨습니다.

하나님께서 여러분을 위해 행하신 세 번째 큰일입니다. 우리는 죄와 죽음의 노예였습니다. 예수께서

우리를 노예에서 아들로 바꾸셨습니다. 예수님은 하나님을 아버지라 부를 수 있는

권세를 우리에게 주셨습니다. 우리는 하나님의 아들이고 딸입니다.

갈라디아서 4 : 6 ~ 7

너희가 아들이므로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아빠 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라 그러므로 네가 이 후로는 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 하나님으로 말미암아 유업을 받을 자니라.

마태복음 6 : 9

그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며.

예수님은 언제 어디서 기도하든 우리는 하나님을 아버지라 부를 수 있다고 가르치셨습니다. 우리는 하나님 아버지의 자녀입니다. 자녀는 언제든지, 어디서든지 아버지께 다가갈 수 있습니다. 무슬림, 힌두교도, 시카교도, 유대인, 모든 다른 종교는 시간의 제약이 있습니다. 하지만 예수님은 모든 속박을 깨뜨리시고 우리를 하나님의 자녀로 만드셨습니다.

4. 예수님은 우리를 위해 기도하십니다.

조금 전에 배운 대로 모든 선지자, 제자, 종교의 창시자들은 죽었고 끝났습니다. 그들의 죽은 몸은 무덤에 있지만 하나님의 아들이신 우리 주 예수님은 죽음에서 부활하셨고 하나님 아버지 우편에 계십니다.

예수님은 그분을 따르는 자들을 위해 기도하고 계십니다. 여러분과 저를 위해 기도하십니다.

로마서 8 : 34 ~ 누가 정죄하리요 죽으실 뿐 아니라 다시 살아나신 이는 그리스도 예수시니

그는 하나님 우편에 계신 자요 우리를 위하여 간구하시는 자시니라.

예수님은 하늘에서 기도하실 뿐 아니라 이 땅의 사역동안에도 기도하셨습니다.

누가복음 22 : 31 ~ 32

시몬아, 시몬아, 보라 사탄이 너희를 밀 까부르듯 하려고 요구하였으나 그러나 내가 너를

위하여 네 믿음이 떨어지지 않기를 기도하였노니 너는 돌이킨 후에 네 형제를 굳게 하라.

형제자매 여러분, 사탄이 우리의 믿음을 무너뜨리지 못하도록 예수께서 우리의 믿음을 위해 기도하십니다.

5. 예수님은 우리를 데리러 오십니다.

하나님이 우리를 위해 행하신 마지막 큰일은 예수께서 우리를 집으로 데려가기 위해 오신다는 것입니다.

요한복음 14 : 1 ~ 3

너희는 마음에 근심하지 말라 하나님을 믿으니 또 나를 믿으라 내 아버지 집에 거할 곳이 많도다 그렇지 않으면 너희에게 일렀으리라 내가 너희를 위하여 거처를 예비하러 가노니 가서 너희를 위하여 거처를 예비하면 내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하여 나 있는 곳에 너희도 있게 하리라.

우리가 그분의 명령에 순종하고 이 땅에서 경건한 삶을 산다면 우리는 그분과 함께 갈 수 있습니다.

요한복음 14 : 15 ~ 16 너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라 내가 아버지께 구하겠으니

그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하리니.

결론 :-

형제자매 여러분, 주님이 큰일을 행하신 것은 이스라엘 백성만을 위한 것이 아님을 항상

기억하십시오. 그분은 이 시대에도 여전히 우리를 위하여 큰일을 행하십니다. 아멘.

한국에 오고 싶어 하는 외국인이 많이 있습니다. 브로커에게 돈을 주는 사람도 많다고 알고 있습니다. 그들은 많은 돈을 쓰지만 그럼에도 고향으로 돌아갑니다. 하지만 우리는 여기 한국에 있습니다. 여러분이 믿든지 믿지 않든지 우리가 여기 한국에 있다는 것은 대단한 일입니다. 형제자매 여러분, 여러분의 삶에 큰일을 보고자 한다면 불평하지 말고 오직 감사하면 큰일이 여러분을 따라올 것입니다.
