Bible Reading - Luke 19:11~20

19:11 While they were listening to this, 그들이 이것에 귀를 기울이는 동안

he went on to tell them a parable, 그는 하나님의 비유를 그들에게 계속 말하셨다.

because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 그가 예루살렘 근처에 있었고 사람들은 하나님의 나라가 곧 나타날 것이라고 생각했기 때문에

19:12 He said: "A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 귀족 가문 출신의 한 남자가 왕으로 즉위하고 돌아오기 위해 먼 나라로 갔다.

19:13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.

그래서 그는 열명의 종들을 불러 그들에게 열 므나를 주었다.

'Put this money to work,' he said, 'until I come back.'

그가 말했다."내가 돌아올 때까지 이 돈을 잘 활용해 둬."

19:14 "But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, 'We don't want this man to be our king.'

그러나 그의 신하들은 그를 미워하여 사절단을 보내 "우리는 이 사람이 우리의 왕이 되는 것을 원하지 않습니다"라고 말했다.

19:15 "He was made king, however, and returned home. 그러나 그는 왕으로 즉위하여 고향으로 돌아갔다.

Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.

그러자 그는 돈을 주었던 하인들을 불러 그들이 그 돈으로 무엇을 얻었는지 알아보려 했다.

19:16 "The first one came and said, 'Sir, your mina has earned ten more.'

첫 번째 사람이 와서 말했다. '주인님, 주인님의 1미나로 10미나를 더 벌었습니다.'

19:17 "'Well done, my good servant!' his master replied. "

잘 하였다, 나의 착한 종아."하고 그의 주인이 대답했다.

 'Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.'

왜냐하면 너는 아주 작은 것에 충성했기에 열 고을을 차지하라.

19:18 "The second came and said, 'Sir, your mina has earned five more.'

두번째 사람이 와서 말하기를 "주인님, 당신의 므나는 다섯배를 벌었습니다."

19:19 "His master answered, 'You take charge of five cities.'

그의 주인이 대답했다. "너는 다섯 고을을 차지하라."

19:20 "Then another servant came and said, 그러자 다른 종이 와서 말했다.

'Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth.

주인님, 여기 당신의 므나가 있습니다. 나는 그것을 천 조각에 싸서 보관해 두었습니다.
