Let us be the good teacher & student (Disciple).

There's a saying if a man has a real good teacher, 10 good friends and read 100 good books.

He is having successful life. Let me ask you a question. Are you living a successful life?

Do you have “Good Teacher”? Do you have 10 Good Friends“? Do you read 100 books?

When we talk about teacher. Is there any special name come up in your mind? Do you remember someone good teacher who has a special place in your life? Do you have 10 real good friends?

Do you read 100 books? If your answer is in yes you are living a successful life.

Friends, teachers deserve special honor because they help to shape the next generation.

By their words and works. Teachers mold the leaders of tomorrow. Henry Brooks Adams said,

“A teacher affects eternity. He can never tell where his influence stops.”

♣ God called me through the messages of late Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho and God raised me through my spiritual teacher / spiritual father late Dr. Sung Kyu Choi, the senior pastor of our church.♣

I believe each one of us has good or bad experiences about teachers. -- Am I right?

1. The first teacher in our lives.

Deare brothers and sisters, what do you think, who is the 1st. teacher of a child? Teacher in kindergarten or Sunday school teacher or 1st.Grade teacher in school? Yes, mother is the first teacher of a child. The first president of Pakistan Quaid-E-Azam. He said give me good mothers, & I will give you good nations. That's very right friends, Mothers are the first teachers. Then other members of the family. Only mothers can understand the silent or un-spoken language of the child.

2nd. Kings 22 : 1 ~ 2

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother’s name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath. - He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord & walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

King Josiah did everything what was good in the eyes of the Lord because of his mother. She taught the good education. Josiah walked in the presence of God. It wasn't because of his own attempts. It was the education of his mother Jedidah. - I request to all mothers to be the good mothers like Jedidah.

Woman is weak but mother is strong. - Let's teach our children the right education.

Proverb 22 : 6

Start children off on the way they should go, & even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Ephesians 6 : 4

Fathers, do not exasperate ur children, instead, bring them up in the training & instruction of the Lord.

2. Worldly Teachers.

Let me introduce you the worldly teachers. There's a saying in a Pakistan. "Parents brought a child from heaven to earth and good teachers send back that kid to heaven". It means parents married and a child born. Teachers teach good education to send that kid back to heaven.

No doubt it’s non-Biblical education but good to understand the value of a good teacher. Friends it's the duty of a each teacher that they must teach good education. Not verbally but practically.

Samuel was having a teacher Eli. David was having a teacher Samuel.

Elisha was having a teacher Elijah. Joshua was having a teacher Moses.

Paul was having a teacher Gamliel. Timothy was having a teacher Paul.

Being a good student we have to respect and love our teachers. There's also a saying.

"A student must not step down the shadow of his teacher because of respect".

That's a respect for a teacher. Teacher teach with love and students learn with respect. It's a very delicate relationship. Teacher must study well before he or she teach. Teacher teach with deeds

Dear friends, finally let me introduce you the best teacher. The best teacher than any mother, father, family. and worldly teachers. The best teacher than an earthly teacher. He is the Jesus.

3. The Best Teacher.

Let me introduce you the best teacher of the universe. Jesus, He never taught His disciples verbally but Jesus Christ taught His disciples by deeds. Jesus lived on this earth according to His deeds. His He taught with deeds. (James 2 : 26)

He taught about forgiveness and He forgave. (Luke 23 : 34)

He taught about to serve and He served. (John 13 : 14)

He taught about to love and He love. (Matthew 5 : 44)

He taught about obedience. He obeyed His mother's commands. (John 2 : 3 ~ 5)

He took care of His mother even though He was in great pain. (John 19 : 26 ~ 27)

Let's learn from Jesus and be good teacher. Let's resemble Jesus and follow His teaching.

John 13 : 13

"You call Me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am.

A famous teacher of the law Nicodemus came to Jesus and acknowledge Jesus as a Teacher.

Who came from God. Yes, Jesus came from God to teach us the real way of the life.

John 3 : 2

He came to Jesus at night and said, 'Rabbi, we know You are a teacher who has come from

God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs You are doing if God were not with Him.'

Conclusion :-

It is duty of all students that we’ve to respect our teachers as we respect our parents. As I said before, there is saying in our home town that parents married & brought children from heaven to earth. But good teachers teach them, how be a good person. Teachers, teach children worldly language to be a good citizen. Being a teachers teach children exact way as Jesus taught His disciples.

John 13 : 15

I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.

Let's manifest ourselves. What kind of students or people we're? What kind of teachers we're?

Do we obey and respect our teachers as a students? ( John 13 : 14)

Do we love our teachers, and teachers love students? ( John 3 : 16)

Do we really follow the best teacher of the universe? ( Luke 9 : 23)

Teachers or students, everyone want to blessed. Here is secret of blessings. Obey Jesus’s command.

John 13 : 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

John 14 : 15 “If you love Me, keep My commands.

Few days ago while I was driving. I read in front of a school.

Teachers teach with love and students learn with respect.

좋은 선생과 학생(제자)이 됩시다

그 사람에게 한명의 진정한 좋은 선생, 10명의 좋은 친구와 100권의 좋은 책이 있다면 성공적인 삶을 사는 것이라는 말이 있습니다. 여러분에게 질문하겠습니다. 여러분은 성공적인 삶을 살고 있습니까? 좋은 선생님이 있습니까? 10명의 친구가 있습니까? 100권의 책을 읽었습니까? 우리가 선생에 대해 말할 때 마음 속에 떠오르는 특별한 이름이 있습니까? 여러분의 삶에 특별한 자리를 차지하는 좋은 선생을 기억합니까?

10명의 진정한 좋은 친구가 있습니까? 100권의 책을 읽었습니까?

만일 그렇다면 여러분은 성공적인 삶을 살고 있는 것입니다. 선생은 다음 세대를 만들어가는 것을 돕기 때문에 그들은 특별한 존경을 받을 만합니다. 그들의 말과 행동으로 내일의 지도자를 세웁니다. 헨리 브룩스 애담스는 말했습니다. “선생은 영원에 영향을 미친다. 그의 영향은 어디서 끝나는지 결코 알 수 없다.”

조용기 전임 목사님의 설교를 통해 하나님은 저를 부르셨고 영적인 스승, 영적인 아버지인 우리 교회의 최성규 전임 목사님을 통해 저를 세우셨습니다. 우리 각 사람에게 선생에 대한 좋거나 나쁜 경험이 있다고 생각합니다. 그렇죠?

1. 우리 삶의 첫 번째 선생.

형제자매 여러분, 아이의 첫 번째 선생은 누구라고 생각하십니까? 유치원 선생님이나 주일학교 선생님이나 학교에서 1학년 선생님일까요? 어머니는 아이의 첫 번째 선생입니다. 파키스탄의 초대 총독 (콰이드에아잠)은 나에게 훌륭한 어머니를 준다면 나는 훌륭한 민족을 주겠다고 말했습니다. 당연히 어머니는 첫 번째 선생입니다. 그 다음엔 다른 가족입니다. 어머니만이 아이의 잠잠하거나 말하지 않는 언어를 이해할 수 있습니다.

열왕기하 22 : 1 ~ 2

요시야가 왕위에 오를 때에 나이가 팔세라 예루살렘에서 삼십일 년간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의

이름은 여디다요 보사갓 아다야의 딸이더라 요시야가 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여

그의 조상 다윗의 모든 길로 행하고 좌우로 치우치지 아니하였더라.

요시야 왕은 어머니 때문에 여호와 보시기에 선한 모든 것을 행했습니다. 어머니는 훌륭한 교훈으로

가르쳤습니다. 요시야는 하나님 앞에서 행했습니다. 이것은 그의 시도 때문이 아니라 어머니

여디다의 교육 때문이었습니다. 모든 어머니에게 여디다처럼 훌륭한 어머니가 되기를 저는

요청합니다. 여자는 약하지만 어머니는 강합니다. 자녀를 바른 교육으로 가르칩시다.

잠언 22 : 6

마땅히 행할 길을 아이에게 가르치라 그리하면 늙어도 그것을 떠나지 아니하리라.

에베소서 6 : 4

또 아비들아 너희 자녀를 노엽게 하지 말고 오직 주의 교훈과 훈계로 양육하라.

2. 세상의 선생님.

세상의 선생님을 소개하겠습니다. 파키스탄에 이런 말이 있습니다. “부모는 아이를 하늘에서 땅으로 데려오지만 훌륭한 선생님은 아이를 하늘로 돌려보낸다.” 부모가 결혼하여 아이가 태어나고 선생은 아이를 하늘로 돌려보내기 위해 좋은 교육으로 가르친다는 의미입니다. 이것은 틀림없이 비성경적이지만 훌륭한 선생님의 가치를 이해하기에 좋습니다. 말로가 아니라 행동으로 좋은 교육을 가르쳐야 하는 것은 각자 선생님들의 의무입니다.

사무엘에게 선생 엘리가 있었습니다. 여호수아에게 선생 모세가 있었습니다.

다윗에게 선생 사무엘이 있었습니다. 바울에게 선생 가말리엘이 있었습니다.

엘리사에게 선생 엘리야가 있었습니다. 디모데에게 선생 바울이 있었습니다.

훌륭한 학생이 되려면 우리의 선생님을 존경하고 사랑해야 합니다. 또한 이런 말이 있습니다. “학생은 존경하기 때문에 스승의 그림자도 밟지 말아야 한다.” 선생에 대한 존경입니다. 선생은 사랑으로 가르치고 학생은 존경으로 배웁니다. 이것은 매우 민감한 관계입니다. 선생은 가르치기 전에 잘 공부해야 합니다. 선생은 행동으로 가르칩니다. 마지막으로 여러분에게 최고의 선생을 소개하겠습니다. 어떤 어머니, 아버지, 가족, 세상적인 선생보다 최고의 선생, 이 땅의 어떤 선생보다 최고의 선생은 바로 예수입니다.

3. 최고의 선생.

온 세상의 최고의 선생을 여러분에게 소개하겠습니다. 그분은 제자들에게 말로 가르치신 것이 아니라 행동으로 가르치셨습니다. 예수님은 이 땅에서 그분의 행위대로 사셨습니다.

그분은 행동으로 가르치셨습니다. (야고보서 2 : 26)

그분은 용서에 대해 가르치셨고 용서하셨습니다. (누가복음 23 : 34)

그분은 섬김에 대해 가르치셨고 섬기셨습니다. (요한복음 13 : 14)

그분은 사랑에 대해 가르치셨고 사랑하셨습니다. (마태복음 5 : 44)

그분은 순종에 대해 가르치셨고 어머니의 명령에 순종하셨습니다. (요한복음 2 : 3~ 5)

그분은 극심한 고통 중에서도 어머니를 돌보셨습니다. (요한복음 19 : 26~27)

예수께 배우고 훌륭한 선생이 됩시다. 예수를 닮고 그분의 가르침을 따릅시다.

요한복음 13 : 13

너희가 나를 선생이라 또는 주라 하니 너희 말이 옳도다 내가 그러하다.

유명한 서기관 니고데모는 예수께 와서 예수가 하나님께로부터 오신 선생인줄 알았습니다.

그렇습니다. 예수께서 우리에게 진정한 삶의 길을 가르치기 위해 하나님으로부터 오셨습니다.

요한복음 3 : 2

그가 밤에 예수께 와서 이르되 랍비여 우리가 당신을 하나님께로부터 오신 선생인줄 아나이다

하나님이 함께 하시기 아니하시면 당신이 행하시는 이 표적을 아무도 할 수 없음이니이다.

결론 :-

우리가 부모님을 존경하는 것처럼 선생을 존경해야 하는 것은 모든 학생의 의무입니다. 앞서 말씀드린 대로 제 고향에서는 부모는 결혼하여 자녀를 하늘에서 땅으로 데려온다는 말이 있습니다. 하지만 훌륭한 선생은 좋은 사람이 되는 법을 그들에게 가르칩니다. 선생은 자녀에게 좋은 시민이 되도록 세상적인 언어로 가르칩니다. 예수님이 제자들을 가르치신 것처럼 선생은 자녀에게 정확한 길을 가르칩니다.

요한복음 13 : 15

내가 너희에게 행한 것 같이 너희도 행하게 하려 하여 본을 보였노라

우리자신을 점검합시다. 우리는 어떤 학생, 어떤 사람입니까? 우리는 어떤 선생입니까?

우리는 학생으로서 선생님에게 순종하고 존경합니까? (요한복음 13 : 14)

우리는 선생님을 사랑하고 선생님은 학생을 사랑합니까? (요한복음 3 : 16)

우리는 온 세상의 최고의 선생을 진실로 따릅니까? (누가복음 9 : 23)

선생과 학생, 모든 사람은 축복 받기 원합니다. 여기 축복의 비밀이 있습니다. 예수님의 명령에 순종하십시오.

너희가 이것을 알고 행하면 복이 있으니라

너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라

며칠 전에 제가 운전하면서 어떤 학교 앞에서 읽었습니다.

“선생은 사랑하면서 가르치고 학생은 존경하면서 배운다.”
