Not only it achieved recognition in 1999 becoming the first Village appellation to be formed from outstanding terroirs within the AOC Mâcon plus a geographical denomination, but also, it is the only one in Bourgogne allowed to produce wines with residual sugar: the Viré-Clessé Levroutés.<br>The program will tackle key facts about the appellation, its history, its terroir, along with interviews with winegrowers and a tasting of several wines.
