Good evrening everyone.  The Old Testament reading for our Sunday worship service is Isaiah 52:13-15 and our New Testament reading is Matthew 27:33-54. The text for my sermon will be

Luke 23:33-49 and the title of my sermon is "Jesus the King." English vocabulary for my sermon: crucified, cast lots, sneer, mock, insults, rebuke, and centurion.

여러분, 안녕하세요. 이번 주 주일 예배의 구약 성경 봉독은 이사야 52:13-15이며,

신약 성경 봉독은 마태복음 27:33-54입니다.

오늘 설교 말씀의 본문은 누가복음 23:33-49이며,

설교 제목은 **"왕이신 예수"**입니다.

이사야 52장13~15

Isaiah 52:13-15

13. 보라 내 종이 형통하리니 받들어 높이 들려서 지극히 존귀하게 되리라

See, my servant will act wisely;

he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.

14. 전에는 그의 모양이 타인보다 상하였고 그의 모습이 사람들보다 상하였으므로 많은 사람이 그에 대하여 놀랐거니와

Just as there were many who were appalled at him—

his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being

and his form marred beyond human likeness—

15. 그가 나라들을 놀라게 할 것이며 왕들은 그로 말미암아 그들의 입을 봉하리니 이는 그들이 아직 그들에게 전파되지 아니한 것을 볼 것이요 아직 듣지 못한 것을 깨달을 것임이라

so he will sprinkle many nations,

and kings will shut their mouths because of him.

For what they were not told, they will see,

and what they have not heard, they will understand.

마태복음 27장33~54

Matthew 27:33-54.

33. 골고다 즉 해골의 곳이라는 곳에 이르러

They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).

34. 쓸개 탄 포도주를 예수께 주어 마시게 하려 하였더니 예수께서 맛보시고 마시고자 하지 아니하시더라

There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it.

35. 그들이 예수를 십자가에 못 박은 후에 그 옷을 제비 뽑아 나누고

When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

36. 거기 앉아 지키더라

And sitting down, they kept watch over him there.

37. 그 머리 위에 이는 유대인의 왕 예수라 쓴 죄패를 붙였더라

Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

38. 이 때에 예수와 함께 강도 둘이 십자가에 못 박히니 하나는 우편에, 하나는 좌편에 있더라

Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left.

39. 지나가는 자들은 자기 머리를 흔들며 예수를 모욕하여

Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads

40. 이르되 성전을 헐고 사흘에 짓는 자여 네가 만일 하나님의 아들이어든 자기를 구원하고 십자가에서 내려오라 하며

and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”

41. 그와 같이 대제사장들도 서기관들과 장로들과 함께 희롱하여 이르되

In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him.

42. 그가 남은 구원하였으되 자기는 구원할 수 없도다 그가 이스라엘의 왕이로다 지금 십자가에서 내려올지어다 그리하면 우리가 믿겠노라

“He saved others,” they said, “but he canʼt save himself! Heʼs the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.

43. 그가 하나님을 신뢰하니 하나님이 원하시면 이제 그를 구원하실지라 그의 말이 나는 하나님의 아들이라 하였도다 하며

He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ ”

44. 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 강도들도 이와 같이 욕하더라

In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

45. ○제육시로부터 온 땅에 어둠이 임하여 제구시까지 계속되더니

From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land.

46. 제구시쯤에 예수께서 크게 소리 질러 이르시되 엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이는 곧 나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는 뜻이라

About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

47. 거기 섰던 자 중 어떤 이들이 듣고 이르되 이 사람이 엘리야를 부른다 하고

When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “Heʼs calling Elijah.”

48. 그 중의 한 사람이 곧 달려가서 해면을 가져다가 신 포도주에 적시어 갈대에 꿰어 마시게 하거늘

Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink.

49. 그 남은 사람들이 이르되 가만 두라 엘리야가 와서 그를 구원하나 보자 하더라

The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Letʼs see if Elijah comes to save him.”

50. 예수께서 다시 크게 소리 지르시고 영혼이 떠나시니라

And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51. 이에 성소 휘장이 위로부터 아래까지 찢어져 둘이 되고 땅이 진동하며 바위가 터지고

At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split

52. 무덤들이 열리며 자던 성도의 몸이 많이 일어나되

and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.

53. 예수의 부활 후에 그들이 무덤에서 나와서 거룩한 성에 들어가 많은 사람에게 보이니라

They came out of the tombs after Jesusʼ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54. 백부장과 및 함께 예수를 지키던 자들이 지진과 그 일어난 일들을 보고 심히 두려워하여 이르되 이는 진실로 하나님의 아들이었도다 하더라

When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

누가복음 23장33~49

Luke 23:33-49

33. 해골이라 하는 곳에 이르러 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박고 두 행악자도 그렇게 하니 하나는 우편에, 하나는 좌편에 있더라

When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left.

34. 이에 예수께서 이르시되 아버지 저들을 사하여 주옵소서 자기들이 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라 그들이 그의 옷을 나눠 제비 뽑을새

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

35. 백성은 서서 구경하는데 관리들은 비웃어 이르되 저가 남을 구원하였으니 만일 하나님이 택하신 자 그리스도이면 자신도 구원할지어다 하고

The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is Godʼs Messiah, the Chosen One.”

36. 군인들도 희롱하면서 나아와 신 포도주를 주며

The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar

37. 이르되 네가 만일 유대인의 왕이면 네가 너를 구원하라 하더라

and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

38. 그의 위에 이는 유대인의 왕이라 쓴 패가 있더라

There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

39. ○달린 행악자 중 하나는 비방하여 이르되 네가 그리스도가 아니냐 너와 우리를 구원하라 하되

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Arenʼt you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40. 하나는 그 사람을 꾸짖어 이르되 네가 동일한 정죄를 받고서도 하나님을 두려워하지 아니하느냐

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Donʼt you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?

41. 우리는 우리가 행한 일에 상당한 보응을 받는 것이니 이에 당연하거니와 이 사람이 행한 것은 옳지 않은 것이 없느니라 하고

We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42. 이르되 예수여 당신의 나라에 임하실 때에 나를 기억하소서 하니

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

43. 예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 네게 이르노니 오늘 네가 나와 함께 낙원에 있으리라 하시니라

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

44. ○때가 제육시쯤 되어 해가 빛을 잃고 온 땅에 어둠이 임하여 제구시까지 계속하며

It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon,

45. 성소의 휘장이 한가운데가 찢어지더라

for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.

46. 예수께서 큰 소리로 불러 이르시되 아버지 내 영혼을 아버지 손에 부탁하나이다 하고 이 말씀을 하신 후 숨지시니라

Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

47. 백부장이 그 된 일을 보고 하나님께 영광을 돌려 이르되 이 사람은 정녕 의인이었도다 하고

The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.”

48. 이를 구경하러 모인 무리도 그 된 일을 보고 다 가슴을 치며 돌아가고

When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away.

49. 예수를 아는 자들과 갈릴리로부터 따라온 여자들도 다 멀리 서서 이 일을 보니라

But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.
