제1장.上經(상경) 21訓(훈) 157事(사) 제1 강령 誠(성).....정성.....第1事(제1事) 제5체 至感(지감)......감응함에 이름......第37事 제35용 樂天(낙천)......天意(천의)를 즐겨함.......第41事  The 35th Method :    Rejoicing in Heaven(Nacheon)... Joyfully Accepting the Divine Will... Mattre 41.    " Rejoicing in Heaven"     (Nacheon) means finding joy and delight in the will of God.     God′s will toward humanity is perfectly just and completely free of personal bias or favoritism.     therefore, if my sincerity runs deep, God′s divine response will be deep,     if my sincerity is shallow, God′s divine response will likewise be shallow.     One must realize on their own that the depth or shallowness of God′s response      entirely depends on the depth or shallowness of one′s own sincerity.      Thus, as one′s sincerity grows deeper and deeper,      they find themselves becoming progresssively filled with greater joy.     [Original Text]        ■ 樂天者는 樂天之意也라 (낙천자는 낙천지의야라)          Those who rejoice in Heaven find joy in the intent and will of Heaven.         ■ 天意於人에 至公無私하나니 (천의어인에 지공무사하나니)           Heaven′s will toward humanity is supremely impartial is ssupremely impartial            and holds no Private interest.         ■ 我之誠이 深則天之感이 深하고 (아지성이 심즉천지감이 심하고)           If my sincerity is deep, Heaven′s resonance will be profound.         ■ 我之誠이 淺則天之感이 亦淺하시나니 (아지성이 천즉천지감이 역천하시나니)           If my sincerity is shallow, Heaven′s resonancce will also remain shallow.        ■ 自知天感之深淺이 隨我誠之淺深이니 (자지천감지심천이 수아성지천심이니)           Knowing of aneself that the depth of Heaven′s resonance follows           the exact depth of one′s own sincerity.        ■ 故로 漸誠漸落也니라. (고로 점성점락야니라.)           one grows steadily in sincerity , and through that growing sincerity,           grows ssteadily in pure joy.          (Note : '落(낙)' in the original text is used here as a variant / loan character             for '樂(낙)', meaning joy / delight).
