이사야 16장

1.그 땅의 지배자에게 양들을 보내라. 셀라에서 광야를 거쳐 딸 시온의 산으로 양들을 보내라.

2.퍼덕거리며 떠도는 새처럼, 둥지에서 떨어진 새끼 새처럼 모압의 여인들은 아르논 나루터에서 서성거리고 있다.

3."조언해 주고 중재해 주어라. 한낮에는 밤처럼 네 그림자를 드리워서 쫓겨난 사람들을 숨겨 주고 피난민을 그림자 밖으로 몰아내지 마라.

4.모압에서 쫓겨난 사람들이 네게 머물게 해 주어라. 너는 그들에게 그들을 유린하는 사람들로부터 숨을 피난처가 돼 주어라." 그렇다. 폭력이 끝나고 파괴가 멈추고 짓밟는 자가 이 땅에서 사라질 때

5.인자함으로 보좌가 세워지고 다윗의 장막에서 나온 한 사람이 신실함으로 그 위에 앉을 것이다. 그는 공의를 구하고 지체하지 않고 정의를 행할 것이다.

6.우리는 모압이 교만하다고 들었다. 그 찌를 듯한 교만과 자긍심과 우쭐거림과 오만함, 그러나 그 자랑거리들은 허풍이다.

7.그러므로 모압 사람들이 통곡하는구나. 모두가 모압을 두고 통곡하는구나. 길하레셋에서 먹던 건포도 빵을 생각하며 슬피 울며 괴로워하고 있구나.

8.헤스본의 들판과 십마의 포도나무가 시들어버렸기 때문이다. 한때 그 가지가 야셀에까지 뻗어 나가 광야로 퍼져 나갔고 그 싹이 자라서 바다 너머까지 뻗어 나갔었는데 여러 나라 군주들이 포도나무들을 짓밟아 버렸다.

9.그래서 야셀이 십마의 포도나무를 두고 울 때 나도 함께 울고 있다. 헤스본아, 엘르알레야, 내가 눈물로 너를 적시는구나. 다 익은 네 여름 열매와 네 수확물을 보고 기뻐 외치던 소리가 그쳤구나.

10.과수원에는 기쁨과 즐거움이 사라져 버렸고 포도원에는 노랫소리나 환호성이 울려 퍼지지 않고 포도주 틀에는 포도 밟는 사람이 없구나. 내가 그 환호성을 그치게 했다.

11.그래서 모압 때문에 내 내장이 하프처럼 떨리고 길하레셋 때문에 내 창자가 뒤틀린다.

12.모압 사람들이 산당에 올라가 얼굴을 비쳐도 몸만 피곤해질 뿐이고 성소에 들어가서 기도해도 아무 소용이 없을 것이다.

13.이것은 여호와께서 이미 오래전에 모압을 두고 하신 말씀이다.

14.그러나 이제 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "머습으로 고용된 기한처럼 3년 안에 모압의 영화로움과 그 많은 주민들이 모두 치욕을 당할 것이며 결국 살아남은 사람도 아주 적고 보잘것없을 것이다."

イザヤ記 - 16章

1 彼らはセラから荒野の道によって／小羊をシオンの娘の山に送り、国のつかさに納めた。
2 モアブの娘らはアルノンの渡しで、さまよう鳥のように、巣を追われたひなのようである。
3 「相はかって、事を定めよ。真昼の中でも、あなたの陰を夜のようにし、さすらい人を隠し、のがれて来た者をわたさず、
4 モアブのさすらい人を、あなたのうちにやどらせ、彼らの避け所となって、滅ぼす者からのがれさせよ。しえたげる者がなくなり、滅ぼす者が絶え、踏みにじる者が地から断たれたとき、
5 一つの玉座がいつくしみによって堅く立てられ、ダビデの幕屋にあって、さばきをなし、公平を求め、正義を行うに、すみやかなる者が／真実をもってその上に座する」。
6 われわれはモアブの高ぶりのことを聞いた、その高ぶることは、はなはだしい。われわれはその誇と、高ぶりと、そのおごりとのことを聞いた、その自慢は偽りである。
7 それゆえ、モアブは泣き叫べ、民はみなモアブのために泣き叫べ。全く撃ちのめされて、キルハレセテの干ぶどうのために嘆け。
8 ヘシボンの畑と、シブマのぶどうの木とは、しぼみ衰えた。国々のもろもろの主が、その枝を打ち落したからである。その枝はさきにはヤゼルまでいたり、荒野にまではびこり、そのつるは広がって海を越えた。
9 それゆえ、わたしはヤゼルと共に、シブマのぶどうの木のために泣く。ヘシボンよ、エレアレよ、わたしは涙をもってあなたを浸す。ときの声が、あなたの果実と、あなたの収穫の上にふりかかってきたからである。
10 喜びと楽しみとは土肥えた畑から取り去られ、ぶどう畑には歌うことなく、喜び呼ばわることなく、酒ぶねを踏んで酒を絞る者なく、ぶどうの収穫を喜ぶ声はやんだ。
11 それゆえ、わが魂はモアブのために、わが心はキルハレスのために、琴のように鳴りひびく。
12 モアブが高き所に出て、おのれを疲れさせ、またその聖所にきて祈っても、効果はない。
13 これは主がさきにモアブについて語られたみ言葉である。
14 しかし今、主は語って言われる、「モアブの栄えはその大いなる群衆にもかかわらず、雇人の年期とひとしく三年のうちに、はずかしめを受け、残れる者はまことに少なく、力がない」。

Isaiah - Chapter 16

1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.
11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.
12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
13 This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
