Sola Scriptura can’t be found in the Bible?

Catholics say there is no word supporting Sola Scriptura. But we know Bible is Word of God, and Word of God is in the Bible. So, we find Psalm 107:11, Isaiah 40:8, Mark 7:13, John 8:47, 10:35 ( Scripture cannot be abolished), Acts 4:19, Acts 13:48, Hebrew 4:12, Word of Christ Colossians 3:16, Revelation 1:9, Proverb 30:5

1. Mt 4: 1-11

Satan attacked Jesy by the Bible, but Jesus refuted him by the Bible too. Because both knew the Bible has the ultimate authority.

2. Mt 15

6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Catholics have tried to erase the Commandment of God by their human tradition!

3.   Mt 21

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?

Jesus quoted the Bible Psalm 118:22-23

4. Luke 8

21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Jesus equalized the Believers who hear the Word of God and keep it with His mother and His Brothers. Word of God is in the Bible and Bible is the Word of God!

5.    Luke 11

27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Jesus said : Believers who hear the Word of God and keep it are more blessed than Mary was!

6. Luke 24:

27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jesus proved with Bible that the OT prophesied and testified Jesus Christ.

7. John 5

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

BIBLE TESTIFIES JESUS CHRIST MORE AND BETTER THAN ANY OTHER WRITINGS

8.   John 8

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Anyone that wouldn’t hear the words of God don’t belong to God, Jesus said

9.   John 10

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Scripture cannot be violated by any other things like Apocrypha or Didache.

10. Acts 17:
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Berean people searched the Bible daily and therefore there were many who got saved.

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Salvation comes by the Word of God which is in the Bible!

12. Romans 15

4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Scriptures give us the great consolation and hope! Which no other book can give us!

13. 1Cor 15

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Scriptures testify the Death of Jesus for our sins and the prophecy of resurrection of Jesus.

14.   2 Tim 3

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

No writers of Apocrypha or Didache claimed they received the Words from God.

15.  Rev 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life.

No other writings claimed the authority of the book as much as this Bible.

Apostles placed the ultimate authority on the Bible

16. James 2

8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

17. James 2

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

18. 2 Peter 1

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Private interpretation means the interpretation without the Holy Spirit since the Bible was written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

19.Deut 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

20. Psalm 107:11-13

11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

13 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

21. Psalm 119

89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

None of Human writings cannot have this kind of status.

22.Psalm 138

2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

23. Proverb 30
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

24.Isaiah 40:
8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Only the Word of God will stand forever!

“For now treat the scriptures of God as the face of God. Melt in its presence.”

Augustine: Augustine:

But who can fail to be aware that the sacred canon of Scripture, both of the Old and New Testament, is confined within its own limits, and that it stands so absolutely in a superior position to all later letters of the bishops, (On Baptism 2.3.4)

Ortlund makes two observations about this quote:

Augustine draws a clear distinction between Scripture and all subsequent writings with respect to their authority and truthfulness.

Augustine maintains that councils, even plenary (ecumenical) councils, can err and be corrected by later ones.
