† And the Jesus fulfilled His promise (Part 2) †

Jesus fasted for long 40 days. Jesus revealed Himself on His followers for 40 days after His resurrection. Jesus risen from deads on the 3rd., day. Jesus started His ministry at the earthly age of 30 years & He did earthly ministry about 3.5 years. He was circumcised on 8th. day. Anybody know what happened on the 50th. day? Yes, on 50th. day Jesus fulfilled His promise. He poured Holy Spirit on His people.

Jesus made a promise with His followers that He will give them a Helper or an Advocate.

John 14 : 16

And I will ask the Father, & He will give you another Advocate to help you & be with you forever.

All the promises are yes in Christ. We made promise & break promise but Jesus never break His promise.

2nd. Corinthians 1 : 20

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.

And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

Friends, on the Pentecost or 50th. day Jesus fulfilled His promise & poured Holy Spirit to whom who seek.

Acts 2 : 1 & 4

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. ---- All of them were

filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Today let’s learn little more about Holy Spirit. It’s a vast subject and hard to explain & understand.

1. Gathered in one place. (1st. Corinthians 15 : 6 - 500 people saw Jesus)

About 500 people met Jesus but only 120 gathered in one place to praise God and seek the promise of Jesus. 380 people scattered and made lame excuses for not gathering in one place to pray and have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. There was harmony, oneness & unity among the 120 people.

Acts 2 : 1

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

Brothers & sisters, God want oneness or harmony among His people. We people make unity with God but forget to make harmony with His people, with His creation. Let’s make harmony among us.

Psalms 133 : 1 (NLT version)

How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!

2nd. Corinthians 5 : 18

All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself

through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

Friends, if we want to have the anointing of God. We’ve to make harmony with God and God’s people.

Acts 2 : 44 ~ 46

All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

Let’s be one in Christ & live in harmony supply others needs to have the anointing of Holy Spirit.

2. Holy Spirit come suddenly.

Dear friends, in the scripture on the Pentecost day or on the 50th. day Holy Spirit descended on the 120 people. They were praying and praising God and waiting for the promise of the Jesus.

Acts 2 : 3

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from

heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

Friends, Holy Spirit will come upon us suddenly. Holy Spirit never come proposed time.

Judges 14 : 6

The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands

as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.

In the Old Testament Holy Spirit descended time to time and rested on God’s people.

Worked & went back but in New Testament Jesus promised that Holy Spirit will with us forever & ever.

John 14 : 16

And I will ask the Father, & He will give you another advocate to help you & be with you forever.

Different people experience anointing of the Holy Spirit in different ways.

Titles or the Forms of the Holy Spirit.

In the Holy Bible Holy Spirit revealed in different forms. Likewise dove, fire, water etc.,

⓵ Dove. Holy Spirit descended on Jesus Christ in the form of dove. (Matthew 3 : 16 ~ 17)

⓶ Fire. Fire from heaven came and burned sacrifice. (1st. Kings 18 : 38)

⓷ Comforter / Counselor. Holy Spirit comfort & counseled in our distress. (John 14 : 16)

⓸ Teacher. It Helps us how to pray and what to pray. (Romans 8 : 26)

⓹ Wind. We can't see wind or air but it's everywhere. (John 3 : 8)

⓺ Seal. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit nobody can hurt us. (2nd. Corinthians 1 : 22)

⓻ Guide. Holy Spirit guide us & tell us. Where, when, what, & how to do? (John 16 : 13)

⓼ Oil. David was anointed with oil and right after he got Spirit of God. (1st. Samuel 16 : 13)

3. Holy Spirit helps, remind & teach us.

When we’re so exhausted with our pain & we don’t know what to pray & how to pray? Holy Spirit teach us.

Romans 8 : 26 ~ 27

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we

ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Mark 13 : 10 ~ 11

And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

4. Speaking in new tongues.

When Holy Spirit descended on 120 people. Those people started to spoke new tongues.

Acts 2 : 4

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began

to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

It’s look strange, when we listen the new tongues. But friends always remember don’t pass bad remarks on it. God will forgive if we will say anything wrong (blasphemy) about God. But God will not forgive us. If we will say anything bad or wrong (blasphemy) about the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 12 : 31

And so I tell you, every kind of sin & slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

Lesson for you and me :-

Friends God always keep His promises. If we want the anointing of Holy Spirit. Let's make a unity with God and God’s people. 2ndly., let's wait and pray with this faith that we will also have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. God is not unjust God. If we will seek with faith, knock the door of blessings & ask with faith & passions. Surely we'll have the anointing of the Holy Spirit.- (Acts 8:20)

⓷ What, happened when they prayed? ⓸ What, happened when Holy Spirit came?

† 그리고 예수님은 자신의 약속을 이루셨습니다 (2부) †

예수님은 40일 동안 금식하셨습니다. 예수님은 제자들에게 40일 동안 나타내셨습니다. 예수님은 3일만에 죽음에서 일어나셨습니다. 예수님은 지상에서의 사역을 30세에 시작하셨고 3년 반정도 하셨습니다. 그분은 8일째에 할례를 받으셨습니다. 50일째에 무슨 일이 일어났는지 아십니까? 그렇습니다. 예수님은 50일째에 약속을 실행하셨습니다. 그분의 백성들에게 성령을 부으셨습니다.

예수님은 제자들에게 돕는 분 혹은 상담자를 보내실 것이라고 약속하셨습니다.

요한복음 14 : 16

내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 함께 있게 하시리니.

모든 약속은 그리스도 안에서 예가 됩니다. 우리는 약속을 하고 어기지만 예수님은 그분의 약속을 절대 어기지 않으십니다.

고린도후서 1 : 20

하나님의 약속은 얼마든지 그리스도 안에서 예가 되니 그런즉

그로 말미암아 우리가 아멘 하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 되느니라.

오순절 즉 50일째에 예수님은 그분의 약속을 실행하셨고 구하는 자들에게 성령을 부으셨습니다.

사도행전 2:1, 4

오순절날이 이미 이르매 저희가 다같이 한 곳에 모였더니

저희가 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 방언으로 말하기를 시작하니라

오늘 성령에 대해 좀 더 배워봅시다. 이는 방대한 주제이고 설명하고 이해하기 어렵습니다.

1. 다같이 한 곳에. (고린도전서 15:6 - 500명이 예수를 보았다)

약 500명의 사람들이 예수를 만났지만 120명만이 한 곳에 모여서 하나님을 찬양하고 예수의 약속을 구했습니다. 380명은 흩어졌고 성령의 기름부음을 받는 한 장소에 모이지 않으려고 어설픈 핑계를 댔습니다. 120명 사이에 화합, 일치, 연합이 있었습니다.

사도행전 2 : 1 ~~~~ 오순절날이 이미 이르매 저희가 다같이 한 곳에 모였더니

하나님은 그분의 백성들 사이에 일치, 화합을 원하십니다. 우리 사람들은 하나님과 연합하지만

그분의 백성과, 그분의 피조물과 화합하는 것을 잊어버립니다. 우리 사이에 화합합시다.

시편 133 : 1 (NLT역) ~~~ 형제가 연합하여 동거함이 어찌 그리 선하고 아름다운고

고린도후서 5 : 18

모든 것이 하나님께로 났나니 저가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를

자기와 화목하게 하시고 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직책을 주셨으니.

하나님의 기름부음을 받고자 한다면 하나님 그리고 하나님의 백성들과 화합해야 합니다.

사도행전 2 : 44 ~ 46

믿는 사람이 다 함께 있어 모든 물건을 서로 통용하고 또 재산과 소유를 팔아 각 사람의 필요를 따라 나눠주고 날마다 마음을 같이 하여 성전에 모이기를 힘쓰고 집에서 떡을 떼며 기쁨과 순전한 마음으로 음식을 먹고.

성령의 기름부음을 받으려면 그리스도 안에서 하나가 되고 화합하며 살고 다른 사람의 필요를 공급합시다.

2. 성령은 갑자기 오십니다.

오늘의 말씀에서 오순절 즉 50일째에 하나님을 찬양하고 예수의

약속을 기다리는 120명에게 성령이 강림하셨습니다.

사도행전 2 : 2 ~ 홀연히 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람 같은 소리가 있어 저희 앉은 온 집에 가득하며.

성령은 우리에게 갑자기 오실 것입니다. 성령은 제안된 시간에 오시지 않습니다.

사사기 14 : 6

삼손이 여호와의 신에게 크게 감동되어 손에 아무것도 없어도 그 사자를 염소

새끼를 찢음 같이 찢었으나 그는 그 행한 일을 부모에게도 고하지 아니하였고.

구약성경에서 성령은 때때로 강림하셨고 하나님의 사람들에게 머무시고 일하시고 돌아가셨지만

신약성경에서 예수님은 성령께서 영원히 우리와 함께 하실 것이라고 약속하셨습니다.

요한복음 14 : 16

내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 함께 있게 하시리니.

각각의 다른 사람들이 다른 방법으로 성령의 기름부음을 경험했습니다.

성령의 형상 :-

성경에서 성령은 비둘기, 불, 물 등과 같이 다른 형상으로 나타났습니다.

⓵ 비둘기. 성령이 비둘기의 형상으로 예수 그리스도에게 강림하셨습니다. (마태복음 3 : 16 ~ 17)

⓶ 불. 불이 하늘로부터 내려와 희생제물을 태웠습니다. (열왕기상 18 : 38)

⓷ 위로자/상담자. 성령은 우리의 어려움 중에 위로하고 상담해주십니다. (요한복음 14 : 16)

⓸ 선생. 어떻게 기도하고 무엇을 기도해야 할지 도우십니다. (로마서 8 : 26)

⓹ 바람. 우리는 바람을 볼 수 없지만 어디든지 있습니다. (요한복음 3 : 8)

⓺ 인치심. 우리는 성령으로 인치심을 받아 아무도 우리를 해칠 수 없습니다. (고린도후서 1 : 22)

⓻ 인도자. 성령은 우리를 인도하시고 어디서 언제 무엇을 어떻게 해야하는지 말씀하십니다. (요한복음 16:13)

⓼ 기름. 다윗은 기름부음을 받았고 그 직후 하나님의 영이 임했습니다. (사무엘상 16 : 13)

3. 성령은 도우시고 기억나게 하시고 가르치십니다.

우리가 고통으로 너무 지쳐 무엇을 기도하고 어떻게 기도할지 모를 때 성령은 가르치십니다.

로마서 8 : 26

이와 같이 성령도 우리 연약함을 도우시나니 우리가 마땅히 빌 바를 알지

못하나 오직 성령이 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 친히 간구하시느니라.

마가복음 13 : 10 ~ 11

또 복음이 먼저 만국에 전파되어야 할 것이니라 사람들이 너희를 끌어다가 넘겨줄 때에

무슨 말을 할까 미리 염려치 말고 무엇이든지 그 시에 너희에게 주시는

그 을 하라 말하는 이는 너희가 아니요 성령이시니라.

4. 새로운 언어로 말함.

성령이 120명에게 강림하셨을 때 그 사람들은 새로운 언어로 말하기 시작했습니다.

사도행전 2 : 4

저희가 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 방언으로 말하기를 시작하니라.

우리는 새로운 방언을 들을 때 이상합니다. 나쁜 말이 들어오지 않도록 항상 기억하십시오.

우리가 하나님에 대해 나쁜 말(신성모독)을 하면 하나님께서 용서하십니다. 하지만 성령에 대해 나쁜 말(신성모독)을 하면 하나님께서 용서하지 않으실 것입니다.

마태복음 12 : 31

그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 사람의 모든 죄와 훼방은

사하심을 얻되 성령을 훼방하는 것은 사하심을 얻지 못하겠고.

여러분과 저를 위한 교훈 :-

하나님은 항상 약속을 지키십니다. 우리가 성령의 기름부음을 원한다면 하나님과 그리고 하나님의 사람들과 연합해야 합니다. 둘째, 우리도 역시 성령의 기름부음을 받을 것이라는 믿음으로 기다리며 기도합시다. 하나님은 불공평한 하나님이 아닙니다. 믿음으로 구하고 축복의 문을 두드리고 믿음과 열정으로 구하면 틀림없이 성령의 기름부음을 받을 것입니다. (사도행전 8 : 20)
