† At the Cross - At the Cross †

Brothers and sisters, words CROSS is used 25 times in the Holy Bible. And we have to know that our Savior Lord Jesus suffered at the Cross and according to the Biblical accounts, Jesus was on the cross for approximately six hours. The Gospels records that the crucifixion began at the "third hour" (around 9:00 A.M.) and He breathed His last at the "ninth hour" (around 3:00 P.M.) If we visit the Catholic Church. We can see Priest or Father make a sign of Cross. First vertically, then horizontally. Vertically God sent His Son (Jesus) & vertically means, we’ve to share Jesus with the power of the Holy Spirit to others. Today, it’s a question to all of us. If we are real Christian. We have to share Jesus with others.

We’ve to understand meaning of Crucifxion and We’ve share the meaning of Cross with other.

Today, let’s understand the meaning of the Cross & share the meaning of Cross with others.

1. Meaning of the cross is love or to add.

Brothers and sisters, at first we have understand that the meaning of Cross is love. God the Father showed His love by giving His Son Jesus to save us. We were dying in sin. Jesus came to save us. John 3 : 16

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,

that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2nd Corinthians 5 : 18 (Ministry to Add)

All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ & gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

1st. John 4 : 8 & 10 ~ 11

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. -- This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

God showed His love. It’s our duty being a Christian, we’ve to show love through our deeds.

John 13 : 34 ~ 35

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love

one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

2. Meaning of the cross is light.

Dear friends, secondly we can see the light at the Cross of Jesus. People were dying in the darkness of sin death. But the Crucifixion of Jesus showed us great light. Jesus is light & lead everyone in the light and to the light. Today, it is time to leave the darkness of sin and death & come in the light of Jesus.

John 8 : 12

When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, “I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

When Saul on the way to Damascus to hurt believers. Jesus revealed Himself in a flash light.

Acts 9 : 3

As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

3. Meaning of the cross is forgiveness & Harmony.

Friends, 3rdly meaning of Cross is forgiveness & harmony. In Old Testament to have the forgiveness of any big or small sins. There should be sacrifice. Jesus is the Lamb of God who washed and cleansed our sins.

God the Father forgave our sins the Crucifixion of Jesus. Through Jesus we can have Harmony with God.

John 1 : 26

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,

“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

When we accept Jesus as Savior & the Son of living God. We believe His crucifixion & resurrection. When we repent our sins from the bottom of our hearts & ask forgiveness. Surely our sins will be forgiven.

Luke 23 : 34 ~~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Friends, our sins are forgiven. Do we forgive others? If not our sins can not be forgiven.

Matthew 6 : 15 ~~ But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

4. Meaning of the cross is healing.

Dear friends, 4thly meaning of Cross is healing. Jesus was in great pain but He healed our all pains & sufferings. Jesus suffered at the Cross to heal our all diseases & pains. Just come under the Cross of Jesus.

Isaiah 53 : 5

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the

punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

1st. Peter 2 : 24

“He Himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might

die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.”

Today, let’s wash and cleansed our all sickness & disease with the blood which flow from Calvary.

John 19 : 34 ~ 35

Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood & water. The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows

that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe.

5. Meaning of the cross is Humbleness.

5thly meaning of the Cross is humbleness. Even though Jesus is the Son of God. He by Himself is God but He lowered Himself and He became in a flesh. He suffered, stripped, nailed, wear the crown of thorns.

Isaiah 9 : 6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.

And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Philippians 2 : 5 ~ 8

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross!

Conclusion :-

To wear the Cross around our neck isn’t a fashion. It’s a testimony that Jesus is the Lord & He suffered, died & risen from the deads. And in Jesus we have eternal life. Let us show Jesus through our deeds. Another meaning of Cross is that Jesus made a Harmony among God the Father & people. Now it’s our duty that we make Harmony with God & people. Let’s forgive, serve, humble, and love other as Jesus did.

John 14 : 15 ~ 16

If you love Me, keep My commands. - And I will ask the Father, and

He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever,

In a Car there are 20,000 parts. When all parts get together, it became a car. If parts stop work or leave one by one. Car can not run. Let us get together. Let’s make Harmony with God and His people.

† 십자가에서 – 십자가에서 †

형제자매 여러분, ‘십자가’라는 단어가 성경에 25번 사용되었습니다. 그리고 우리 구세주 예수님이 십자가에서 고통당하셨음을 알아야 합니다. 성경적 근거에 따르면 예수님은 십자가 위에 거의 여섯 시간동안 계셨습니다. 십자가 못 박힌 것이 제 삼시(약 오전 9시)에 시작되었고 제 구시(약 오후3시)에 숨을 거두셨다는 것이 복음서 기록입니다. 캐톨릭 성당에 가보면 사제 즉 신부가 먼저 세로로, 그 다음에 가로로 십자성호를 긋는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 세로로 긋는 것은 하나님께서 그분의 아들 예수를 보내셨음을, 가로로 긋는 것은 우리가 다른 사람과 성령의 능력으로 예수를 나누어야 함을 의미합니다.

오늘, 이것은 우리 모두에게 하는 질문입니다.

우리가 진정한 크리스천이라면 우리는 다른 사람과 예수를 나누어야 합니다.

우리는 십자가 못 박힘의 의미를 알아야 하고 다른 사람과 십자가의 의미를 나누어야 합니다.

오늘, 십자가의 의미를 알아보고 다른 사람과 십자가의 의미를 나눕시다.

1. 십자가의 의미는 사랑 즉 더하는 것입니다.

형제자매 여러분, 먼저 우리는 십자가의 의미가 사랑임을 알아야 합니다. 하나님 아버지는 우리를

구원하기 위해 아들 예수를 보내주심으로써 그분의 사랑을 보여주셨습니다.

우리는 죄 속에 죽었습니다. 예수님이 우리를 구원하러 오셨습니다.

요한복음 3 : 16 ~~~ 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를

믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라.

고린도후서 5 : 18 (더하는 직분)

모든 것이 하나님께로서 났으며 그가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를

자기와 화목하게 하시고 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직분을 주셨으니.

요한1서 4 : 8, 10 ~ 11

사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑하 심이라 사랑은 여기

있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리

죄를 속하기 위하여 화목제물로 그 아들을 보내셨음이라.

하나님은 사랑을 보여주셨습니다. 우리 행위를 통해 사랑을 보이는 것이 크리스천으로서의 의무입니다.

요한복음 13 : 34 ~ 35 ~~~ 새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라 너희가 서로 사랑하면 이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자인 줄 알리라.

2. 십자가의 의미는 빛입니다.

두 번째, 우리는 예수의 십자가에서 빛을 볼 수 있습니다. 사람들은 죄와 죽음의 어둠 속에서 죽어가고 있었습니다. 하지만 예수의 십자가 못 박힘은 우리에게 커다란 빛을 보여주셨습니다. 예수님은 빛이고 모든 사람을 빛으로 인도하셨습니다. 오늘, 죄와 죽음의 어둠을 떠나 예수의 빛으로 나올 때입니다.

요한복음 8 : 12

예수께서 또 말씀하여 이르시되 나는 세상의 빛이니 나를

따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라.

사울이 신자들을 해치려고 다메섹으로 가는 도중에 예수께서 번쩍이는 빛으로 나타나셨습니다.

사도행전 9 : 3

사울이 길을 가다가 다메섹에 가까이 이르더니 홀연히 하늘로부터 빛이 그를 둘러 비추는지라.

3. 십자가의 의미는 용서와 화합입니다.

세 번째, 십자가의 의미는 용서와 화합입니다. 구약성경에서 크고 작은 죄를 용서받기 위해서는 희생제물이 있어야 했습니다. 예수님은 우리 죄를 씻어 깨끗하게 하시는 하나님의 어린 양입니다. 하나님 아버지는 예수의 십자가 못 박힘으로 우리 죄를 용서하셨습니다. 예수를 통해서 우리는 하나님과 화합할 수 있습니다.

요한복음 1 : 29

이튿날 요한이 예수께서 자기에게 나아오심을 보고 이르되 보라 세상 죄를 지고 가는 하나님의 어린 양이로다.

우리가 예수를 구세주와 살아계신 하나님의 아들로 영접하고 그분의 십자가 못 박힘과 부활을 믿을 때, 마음 깊은 곳으로부터 우리 죄를 회개하고 용서를 구할 때 틀림없이 우리 죄는 용서받을 것입니다.

누가복음 23 : 34

이에 예수께서 이르시되 아버지 저들을 사하여 주옵소서 자기들이 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라

우리 죄는 용서받았습니다. 우리는 다른 사람을 용서합니까? 아니라면 우리 죄를 용서받을 수 없습니다.

마태복음 6 : 15

너희가 사람의 잘못을 용서하지 아니하면 너희 아버지께서도 너희 잘못을 용서하지 아니하시리라.

4. 십자가의 의미는 치유입니다.

네 번째 십자가의 의미는 치유입니다. 예수님은 극심한 고통 중에 계셨지만 그분은 우리의 모든 고통과 어려움을 치유하셨습니다. 예수님은 우리의 모든 질병과 고통을 치유하시려고 십자가에서 고통당하셨습니다. 예수의 십자가 아래로 나아오십시오.

이사야 53 : 5 ~~ 그가 찔림은 우리의 허물 때문이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악 때문이라 그가 징계를

받으므로 우리는 평화를 누리고 그가 채찍에 맞으므로 우리는 나음을 받았도다.

베드로전서 2 : 24

친히 나무에 달려 그 몸으로 우리 죄를 담당하셨으니 이는 우리로 죄에 대하여

죽고 의에 대하여 살게 하려 하심이라 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 너희는 나음을 얻었나니.

갈보리에서 흘리신 피로 우리의 모든 질병과 약함을 씻어 깨끗하게 합시다.

요한복음 19 : 34 ~ 35

그 중 한 군인이 창으로 옆구리를 찌르니 곧 피와 물이 나오더라 이를 본 자가 증언하였으니

그 증언이 참이라 그가 자기의 말하는 것이 참인 줄 알고 너희로 믿게 하려 함이니라.

5. 십자가의 의미는 겸손입니다.

다섯 번째 십자가의 의미는 겸손입니다. 예수님은 하나님의 아들이고 그분 자신이 하나님이셨음에도 불구하고 그분은 낮아져 육신이 되셨습니다. 그분은 고통당하시고, 채찍질 당하시고, 매 맞고 가시관을 쓰셨습니다.

이사야 9 : 6

이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데 그의 어깨에는 정사를 메었고

그의 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라.

빌립보서 2 : 5 ~ 8

너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고 오히려 자기를 비워 종의 형체를 가지사 사람들과 같이 되셨고

사람의 모양으로 나타나사 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라.

결론 :- 우리 목에 십자가를 거는 것은 패션이 아닙니다. 예수가 주님이시고 그분이 고통당하시고 죽으시고 죽음에서 일어나셨다 그래서 우리는 영생을 얻었다는 선언입니다. 우리 행위를 통해 예수를 보입시다. 십자가의 또 다른 의미는 예수님이 하나님 아버지와 사람들 사이에 화합을 이루셨다는 것입니다. 하나님과 사람들과의 화합을 이루는 것이 이제 우리의 의무입니다. 예수님이 하셨던 것처럼 용서하고, 섬기고, 겸손하고, 다른 사람을 사랑합시다.

요한복음 14 : 15 ~ 16 -- 너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라 내가 아버지께 구하겠으니

그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하리니.

차에는 20000개의 부속품이 있습니다. 모든 부속품이 모였을 때 한 대의 차가 됩니다.

부속품이 작동을 멈추거나 하나씩 떨어져나가면 차는 달릴 수 없습니다.

함께 모입시다. 하나님과 그분의 사람들과 화합을 이룹시다.
