Brand Manager, Mobile Services (CONTRACT)
Samsung is recruiting for a Brand Manager – Mobile Services for a 12 month contract reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications. The role entails leading the overall marketing launch plan of Samsung Pay in the Canadian market. The individual will work side-by-side with internal teams within Samsung Canada and Global HQ (Korea), including the dedicated Samsung Pay team, and key stakeholders within the broader organization. Further, the individual will work with external payments ecosystem partners (e.g. leading networks, issuing banks, and merchants) to develop co-marketing initiatives.
The Brand Manager’s top level goal will be to ensure a strong launch of Samsung Pay in the Canadian market through a comprehensive and effective marketing program. Further, the candidate will work post-launch to ensure strong usage and awareness of Samsung Pay in the Canadian marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of business acumen in addition to having a core understanding of consumer marketing, development of co-branded initiatives. Exposure to, and understanding of, retail banking, mobile technologies, and mobile wallets/payments is highly desired.
