Open the door of our hearts & families for Jesus.

Dear brothers and sisters, if we invite someone in our homes, What do we do at first. At first we open the door of our hearts, then the door of our homes. Am I right? Friends, if president Trump call you and say I want to visit your home. What will be our response? We will clean our homes. We’ll call our friends, and tell them president Trump want to visit me. We’ll feel proud & happy. --- Am I right?

King of kings the Jesus want to visit us, not only visit us but to stay in our homes & hearts forever.

Jesus is knocking at the door of our hearts to come in. Let’s listen His voice & open the door.

Revelation 3 : 20 ~ Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and

opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with Me.

1. The Wedding family opened the door for Jesus.

Friends, at first I want to let you know that 2000 years ago there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. This family invited Jesus in the wedding. In other words they opened the door for the Lord Jesus.

John 2 : 1 ~ 2 - On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother

was there, and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.

But un-luckily, the wine which was beverage of that age ran out. In those days it was impossible to arrange, cause people made it in own homes. There was no company or storage. When mother Mary knew it, she informed Jesus to do something. She asked servant to do what Jesus say to them.

John 2 : 5 ~~ His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”

Jesus commanded the servants to fill the water jars with simple water. Servant filled the jars with water and later Jesus said, go & serve the master of the banquet. And servants did it without any argument.

John 2 : 9 (1st Portion) and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine.

John 2 : 10 (Jesus can change simple into best)

and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine

after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

Miracles only happened when we open the doors for Jesus. Let’s open our heart & accept as Saviour.

John 15 : 7

If you remain in Me & My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, & it will be done for you.

2. Zacchaeus opened his heart and house for Jesus.

Zacchaeus the Tax Collector was keen interested to see Jesus only. Zacchaeus climbed up on the tree and wait to see Jesus. When Jesus came under the tree. Jesus by Himself stopped & called Zacchaeus by name Zacchaeus come down. Zacchaeus open the door of his home and heart for the Lord Jesus.

Luke 19 : 5 ~ 6

When Jesus reached the spot, He looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately.

I must stay at your house today.” So he came down at once and welcomed Him gladly.

Money lover turned into money giver. Today let us open the door of our home and heart for Jesus.

Luke 19 : 8 ~ 9

But Zacchaeus stood up & said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here & now I give half of my possessions to the poor, & if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

When Zacchaeus opened the door for Jesus. He was totally changed. Sinner received Salvation. The one who was hated by Jews received the love of Jews. Without wasting a time, open ourselves for Jesus.

Matthew 7 : 7 ~ “Ask & it will be given to you; seek & you will find; knock & the door will be opened to you.

3. Jairus opened his heart and house for Jesus.

3rdly we can see leader of synagogue. His daughter was so sick & lying on death bed. Jairus use all of his efforts for healing the daughter. But all of his and doctors efforts were in vain. When there was no hope. Jairus came to Jesus and bow down before Jesus. He opened his heart and house for Jesus.

Mark 5 : 22 ~ 23 (Matthew 9:18-26)

Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his

feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and

put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.”

But on the way to Jairus’s house. His servant told that daughter is dead. Now no need to take

Jesus in home. But Jesus gave Jairus Good News. Just believe. “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

Mark 5 : 36 ~~ Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

Jairus took Jesus in his home with faith. Jesus went in the room, where daughter was. Jeus took her hand.

Mark 5 : 41 ~ 42

He took her by the hand & said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl stood up & began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.

Today, Jesus is standing right besides us & asking us to open the door of our hearts & homes for Him.

Matthew 4 : 23 proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, & healing every disease & sickness among the people.

Colossians 3 : 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

4. Marth, Mary and Lazarus opened their hearts and house for Jesus.

Martha, Mary & Lazarus, wonderful siblings; open the door of hearts & home for Jesus & blessed.

Luke 10 : 38 ~~ As Jesus and His disciples were on their way, He came to a

village where a woman named Martha opened her home to Him.

Martha prepared the food for Jesus and all disciples, Mary sat at the feet of Jesus and listened. Mary also poured precious and costly perfume on Jesus feet. Jesus raised dead Lazarus on fourth day. Lazarus gave testimony and saved many. Friends, how about you and me? “Let’s do our task or job”.

Luke 10 : 38 ~~ She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what He said

John 12 : 10 ~ 11 -- So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, for on account

of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and believing in him.

These siblings open heart & home for Jesus. Three of them did their best for Jesus. “How about us?“

5. Mother in law of Peter opened her heart and house for Jesus.

Mother in-law of Apostle Peter was severely sick. She was having a kind contagious fever. No one want to touch her. But when Apostle Peter and Jesus visit her home. Jesus touch her and healed her.

Matthew 8 : 14 ~ 15 (Mark 1:29-31, & Luke 4:38-39)

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.

He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on Him.

Today Jesus want to visit you and me. Let us open the door of our homes and hearts for the Jesus.

Jeremiah 33 : 3 ‘Call to Me & I will answer you & tell you great & unsearchable things you do not know.’

Conclusion :-

Brothers & sisters, from now & on, let’s open the door of our hearts & houses for our Savior the Jesus. He is knocking at the door of our hearts & want to come in. He want to live for with us forever.

Revelation 3 : 20 ~~ Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and

opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with Me.

Revelation 3 : 16 So, because you are lukewarm neither hot nor cold I am about to spit you out of My mouth.

예수님을 위해 우리 마음과 가정의 문을 여십시오.

형제자매 여러분, 우리 집에 누군가를 초대한다면 우리는 먼저 무엇을 할까요? 우리는 먼저 마음 문을 열고 그 다음에 우리 집 문을 엽니다. 그렇죠? 트럼프 대통령이 여러분에게 전화해서 나를 여러분 집에 초대하기를 원한다고 말한다면 우리 반응은 어떨까요? 집을 청소하고 친구를 부르고 트럼프 대통령이 자신을 초대하기를 원한다고 그들에게 말할 것입니다. 우리는 자랑스럽고 기쁠 것입니다. 그렇죠?

왕의 왕이신 예수님이 우리를 방문하기 원하시고 방문하실 뿐 아니라 우리 집과 마음에 영원히 머무르기 원하십니다. 예수님이 들어오시려고 우리 마음의 문을 두드리고 계십니다. 그분의 목소리를 듣고 문을 엽시다.

요한계시록 3 : 20 ~~ 볼지어다 내가 문 밖에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을

열면 내가 그에게로 들어가 그와 더불어 먹고 그는 나와 더불어 먹으리라.

1. 결혼하는 가족은 예수를 향해 문을 열었습니다

먼저 2000년 전 갈릴리 가나에 혼례가 있었음을 알려드리고자 합니다. 그 가족은 혼례에 예수님을 초대했습니다. 다시 말해 그들은 주 예수를 향해 문을 열었습니다.

요한복음 2 : 1 ~ 2 ~~ 사흘째 되던 날 갈릴리 가나에 혼례가 있어 예수의 어머니도

거기 계시고 예수와 그 제자들도 혼례에 청함을 받았더니.

하지만 불행하게도 그 시대의 음료인 포도주가 떨어졌습니다. 그 당시에는 사람들이 각자의 집에서 만들었기 때문에 다시 내놓는 것이 불가능했습니다. 회사나 가게가 없었습니다. 어머니 마리아가 이를 알았을 때 무언가를 하도록 예수께 알렸습니다. 그녀는 예수께서 말씀하시는 것을 행하라고 종에게 요청했습니다.

요한복음 2 : 5 그의 어머니가 하인들에게 이르되 너희에게 무슨 말씀을 하시든지 그대로 하라 하니라.

예수님은 물로 항아리를 채우라고 종들에게 명령하셨습니다. 종들은 물로 항아리를 채웠고

예수님은 연회장에게 갖다주라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리고 종들은 논쟁하지 않고 행했습니다.

요한복음 2 : 9 (전반) ~~~ 연회장은 물로 된 포도주를 맛보고도.

요한복음 2 : 10 (예수님은 하찮은 것을 최고의 것으로 바꾸실 수 있습니다)

말하되 사람마다 먼저 좋은 포도주를 내고 취한 후에 낮은

것을 내거늘 그대는 지금까지 좋은 포도주를 두었도다 하니라.

우리가 예수를 향해 마음 문을 열 때 기적이 일어납니다. 마음 문을 열고 구세주로 영접합시다.

요한복음 15 : 7

너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라.

2. 삭개오는 예수를 향해 집을 열었습니다.

세리 삭개오는 예수님을 보고자 하는 강렬한 호기심이 있었습니다. 삭개오는 나무에 올라가서 예수님을 보기 위해 기다렸습니다. 예수님이 나무 아래에 오셨을 때 멈추셔서 내려오라고 삭개오를 이름으로

부르셨습니다. 삭개오는 예수를 향해 자신의 집과 마음 문을 열었습니다.

누가복음 19 : 5 ~ 6 예수께서 그 곳에 이르사 쳐다보시고 이르시되 삭개오야 속히 내려오라

내가 오늘 네 집에 유하여야 하겠다 하시니 급히 내려와 즐거워하며 영접하거늘.

돈을 사랑하는 자가 돈을 주는 자로 바뀌었습니다. 오늘 우리 집과 마음의 문을 예수를 향해 엽시다.

누가복음 19 : 8 ~ 9 삭개오가 서서 주께 여짜오되 주여 보시옵소서 내 소유의 절반을 가난한 자들에게 주겠사오며 만일 누구의 것을 속여 빼앗은 일이 있으면 네 갑절이나 갚겠나이다 예수께서

이르시되 오늘 구원이 이 집에 이르렀으니 이 사람도 아브라함의 자손임이로다

삭개오가 예수를 향해 문을 열었을 때 그는 완전히 바뀌었습니다. 죄인이 구원을 받았습니다. 유대인들이 미워하던 사람이 유대인의 사랑을 받았습니다. 시간을 낭비하지 말고 예수를 향해 여십시오.

마태복음 7 : 7

구하라 그리하면 너희에게 주실 것이요 찾으라 그리하면

찾아낼 것이요 문을 두드리라 그리하면 너희에게 열릴 것이니.

3. 야이로는 예수를 향해 집을 열었습니다.

세 번째, 회당장을 볼 수 있습니다. 그의 딸은 병들어 병상에 누워있었습니다. 야이로는 딸의 치료를 위해 모든 노력을 했으나 헛수고였습니다. 소망이 없을 때 야이로는 예수께 나아와 예수 앞에 엎드렸습니다. 그는 마음과 집을 예수를 향해 열었습니다.

마가복음 5 : 22 ~ 23 (마태복음 9 : 18 ~ 26)

회당장 중의 하나인 야이로라 하는 이가 와서 예수를 보고 발 아래 엎드리어 간곡히 구하여 이르되

내 어린 딸이 죽게 되었사오니 오셔서 그 위에 손을 얹으사 그로 구원을 받아 살게 하소서 하거늘.

하지만 야이로의 집으로 가는 도중에 그의 종이 딸이 죽었다고 말했습니다. 이제 예수님이 집에 가실 필요가 없습니다. 하지만 예수님은 야이로에게 좋은 소식을 전해주었습니다. “두려워하지 말고 믿기만 하라.”

마가복음 5 : 36

예수께서 그 하는 말을 곁에서 들으시고 회당장에게 이르시되 두려워하지 말고 믿기만 하라 하시고.

야이로는 믿음으로 예수님을 집으로 모셔갔습니다. 예수님은 딸이 있는 방으로 가셔서 그녀의 손을 잡으셨습니다.

마가복음 5 : 41 ~ 42

그 아이의 손을 잡고 이르시되 달리다굼 하시니 번역하면 곧 내가 네게 말하노니 소녀야 일어나라

하심이라 소녀가 곧 일어나서 걸으니 나이가 열두살이라 사람들이 곧 크게 놀라고 놀라거늘.

오늘 예수님이 우리 바로 옆에 서서 그분을 향해 우리 마음과 집의 문을 열라고 요청하십니다.

마태복음 4 : 23 ~ 예수께서 온 갈릴리에 두루 다니사 그들의 회당에서 가르치시며

천국 복음을 전파하시며 백성 중의 모든 병과 약한 것을 고치시니.

골로새서 3 : 23 ~~ 무슨 일을 하든지 마음을 다하여 주께 하듯 하고 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라.

4. 마르다, 마리아와 나사로는 예수를 향해 집을 열었습니다.

마르다, 마리아와 나사로, 이 멋진 남매는 예수를 향해 마음과 집의 문을 열어 축복받았습니다.

누가복음 10 : 38

그들이 길 갈 때에 예수께서 한 마을에 들어가시매 마르다라 이름하는 한 여자가 자기 집으로 영접하더라

마르다는 예수님과 모든 제자들을 위해 음식을 준비하였고 마리아는 예수님의 발 앞에 앉아 들었습니다.

마리아는 또한 귀하고 값비싼 향유를 예수의 발에 부었습니다. 예수님은 죽은 나사로를 나흘 만에 일으키셨습니다. 나사로가 간증하여 많은 사람이 구원받았습니다. 여러분과 저는 어떻습니까? 우리의 사명을 감당합시다.

누가복음 10 : 39 ~~~ 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발치에 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니.

요한복음 12 : 10 ~ 11

대제사장들이 나사로까지 죽이려고 모의하니 나사로 때문에 많은 유대인이 가서 예수를 믿더라.

이 남매는 예수를 향해 마음과 집을 열었습니다. 그들 세 명 다 예수를 위해 최선을 다했습니다. 우리는 어떻습니까?

5. 베드로의 장모는 예수를 향해 집을 열었습니다.

사도 베드로의 장모가 심하게 병들었습니다. 그녀는 전염성 열병을 앓고 있었습니다. 아무도 그녀를 만지려고 하지 않았습니다. 하지만 사도 베드로와 예수님이 그녀의 집에 오셨을 때 예수님은 그녀를 만지셨고 그녀를 치유하셨습니다.

마태복음 8:14-15 (마가복음 1:29-31, 누가복음 4:38-39)

예수께서 베드로의 집에 들어가사 그의 장모가 열병으로 앓아 누운 것을 보시고

그의 손을 만지시니 열병이 떠나가고 여인이 일어나서 예수께 수종들더라.

오늘 예수님이 여러분과 저에게 찾아오고자 하십니다. 예수를 향해 우리 집과 마음의 문을 엽시다.

예레미야 33 : 3 ~ 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라

결론 :- 형제자매 여러분, 이제부터 우리 구세주 예수님을 향해 우리 마음과 집의 문을 엽시다. 그분이 들어오시려고 우리 마음 문을 두드리고 계십니다. 그분은 우리와 함께 영원히 살기 원하십니다.
