가정맹세 제1절은 환경복귀입니다. 잃어버린 모든 것을 탕감복귀하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 지금까지 종교는 출가를 요구하고 독신생활을 요구했지만, 통일교회에서 처음으로 환고향을 명령한 것입니다. 환국이라고 말입니다. 세계적으로 엄청난 일이 벌어진 것입니다. 종교계에 이 이상의 행복은 없습니다. 말뿐이 아닙니다.

본향 땅을 찾아, 그 다음에 뭐예요? 지상천국과 천상천국을 창건해야 된다는 것입니다. 쫓겨났으니 다 잃어버렸지요? 찾아 가지고 뭘 한다구요? 지상천국과 천상천국을 이루어야 됩니다.

내가 창조를 해야 됩니다. 잃어버렸으니 전부 다 만들어 놓아야 됩니다. 도둑 맞았으니 다시 찾아 만들어 놓으라는 것입니다. 천년만년 가더라도 하라는 것입니다. 그래서 통일교회는 환고향을 말한 것입니다. 이건 종교계에 없는 놀음입니다.

家庭盟誓の第1節は、環境復帰です。失ってしまったすべてのものを蕩減復帰しなければなりません。今までの宗教は、出家を要求し、独身生活を要求してきましたが、統一教会において初めて還故郷を命令したのです。「還国」です。世界的にとてつもない事件が起きたのです。宗教界にとって、これ以上の幸福はありません。それは言葉だけではありません。(269-105,1995.4.9)


本郷の地を求め、それから何ですか。地上天国と天上天国を創建しなければなりません。追放されたので、すべてを失ってしまったのでしょう？　求めて何をするのですか。地上天国と天上天国を築かなければなりません。

私が創造しなければなりません。失ってしまったので、すべてつくらなければなりません。盗まれたので、再び取り戻してつくっておかなければならないのです。千年、万年かかってもしなさいというのです。それで、統一教会では還故郷を唱えたのです。これは、宗教界にない出来事です。(288-323,1998.1.1)

Number one of the Family Pledge is about the restitution of the environ­ment. We must restore through indem­nity everything that was lost. Until now, religions have asked people to leave home and to live celibate lives. How­ever, the Unification Church instructs people to return to their hometowns, to their nations. A remarkable thing has occurred globally. There can be no high­er happiness than this in the religious world. This is not just idle talk. (269-105, 1995.4.9)
 
After we “seek our original home­land,” what comes next? We must build the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven. Because Adam and Eve were driven out, they lost everything, didn’t they? After you find it, what should you do? You must build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in heaven.

You must create it. Because it was lost, we must recreate it all. We must find and rebuild the things that were stolen, even if it takes thousands or tens of thou­sands of years.
