## Malchut HaMashiach (מַלְכוּת הַמָּשִׁיחַ) – The Messianic Kingdom
---
## 1. Torah Portion (Numbers 16:44–50)
This passage describes the moment when God’s wrath comes upon the congregation of Israel because even after Korach’s rebellion, the people still refuse to repent. The Lord tells Moses, *“Move away from this assembly so that I may consume them instantly.”*
Immediately Moses commands Aaron to take his censer and run into the midst of the congregation. Aaron places fire in the censer and makes atonement before God for the people. Although the plague had already begun, **the plague stopped when Aaron stood between the living and the dead.**
This scene is a powerful Messianic foreshadowing. Aaron serves as a prophetic shadow of **Yeshua HaMashiach** who would come in the future. Yeshua stands between a holy God and humanity deserving judgment because of sin, and through His own life He accomplished eternal atonement.
From an eschatological perspective, the last days will be a period when God’s judgment begins to fall upon the world. Yet at the same time, God preserves the remnant through the work of an intercessor.
When the Messianic Kingdom finally comes, plague, death, and destruction will disappear forever, and perfect life and peace will rule over the earth.
