㉠ 동사의 성질을 잃은 경우이므로 much대신 very로 수식받는다 * I am very tied. [much X]
* You've broken my watch. Now are you satisfied? [satisfying X]
amazed (깜짝놀란) depressed (풀이 죽게 된→풀이 죽은, 우울한) excited (흥분시켜진→흥분한)
satisfied (만족시켜진→만족한) amused (즐겁게 된→즐거워하는) surprised (놀라게 된→놀란)
confused (혼란시켜진→혼란한, 당황한) bored (지루하게 된→지루한, 싫증나는)
(every) now and ∼ 때때로, 가끔.
㉱ 자동사의 과거분사(be + pp) : ㉠ 완료(have+pp) : "시작, 종결, 왕래발착동사(자동사 arrive become come depart fall go grow leave rise run vanish.... 등등)은 be pp형태를 have pp대용으로 사용가능하다.
• The test is started. → The test has started. The man is departed → The man has departed.
• She is gone.
Spring is come. Spring has come. Shakepeare 시대까지도 be 완료형이 많았는데 이는 주로 운동에 관한 자동사 come, go, get, arrive, return, rise, sink, run, pass, fall, descend, become, grow.. Spring is come.(봄이 와 있다.)
Ex.) Ye have come late --- but ye are come. [Coleridge)
You are come lately. (X) You have come lately. (O)
[→"are come"의 come은 과거분사로서 형용사적이며 동작을 서술하는 의미가 없는 것인데(즉 You are here now. ]
He is gone. (=He is absent. = He is not here.) Let us be gone.
We must be gone. Shall we be gone? Be gone.
