우리의 일편단심은 무엇이냐? 잃어버린 본향 땅을 찾고, 본향 조국을 창건하자는 것입니다. 오늘날 재건이라는 얘기를 하지요? 재건은 있는 것을 뜯어 가지고 다시 하는 것이 재건입니다.

통일교회 패들은 재건이 아니라 창건하자 이겁니다. 이건 재료도 없고 주먹밖에 없습니다. 본향 땅이 있습니까? 본향 나라가 있습니까? 없습니다. 없으니 창건입니다. 창건인데 무얼 재료로 하느냐?

여러분 주먹이 재료고, 여러분 몸뚱이가 재료고, 여러분 뼈다귀가 재료입니다. 이 몸뚱이를 움직이고 뼈다귀를 갈고 모든 피살을 뿌리게 될 때는 세계의 금은보화가 날아 들어올 것입니다. 그래서 재료를 구입하자는 것입니다.

여러분이 가정맹세문을 가졌다고 하는 것은 고마운 것입니다. 타향에서 서글프게 나오던 종교권이 귀향하라고 하다니! 환향하라고 하다니! 고향으로 돌아가라고 하다니! 잊을 수 없는 말입니다.

私たちの一片丹心とは何でしょうか。失ってしまった本郷の地を取り戻し、本郷の祖国を創建しようというのです。今日、「再建」という言葉を言うでしょう？　再建とは、あるものを取り壊して再びつくることです。

統一教会の群れは、再建ではなく、創建しようというのです。これは材料もなく、このこぶししかありません。本郷の地がありますか。本郷の国がありますか。ありません。ないので創建するのです。創建するのですが、何を材料にするのでしょうか。

皆さんのこぶしが材料であり、皆さんの体が材料であり、皆さんの骨が材料です。この体を動かし、骨を削り、すべての血と肉を注ぐようになれば、世界の金銀財宝が飛ぶように入ってくるのです。それで、材料を購入しようというのです。(155-53,1964.10.6)

皆さんにとって、家庭盟誓の文をもったのは有り難いことです。他郷で悲しく歩んできた宗教圏でしたが、家庭盟誓は、「帰郷しなさい」と言っているのです！　「還郷しなさい」と言っているのです！　「故郷へ帰りなさい」と言っているのです！　忘れることのできない言葉です。(283-77,1997.4.8)

What is our sincere, unchanging heart? It is to seek for our lost origi­nal homeland, to establish the origi­nal native land. These days, people are talking about rebuilding, aren’t they? Rebuilding means tearing apart that which already exists and making it anew.

The Unification Church does not want to rebuild, but to create. We do not have any resources. We have only our bare hands. Do we have an origi­nal homeland? Do we have an original home nation? No. Because we have nei­ther of these, we must create them.

With what materials can we create them? Your hands, your bodies, and your bones are the materials. When you really put your bodies into it, grinding down your bones and investing your flesh and blood, the treasures of the world will fly to you. Through that, we will be able to pur­chase materials. (155-53, 1964.10.6)
 
Having the Family Pledge is some­thing to be grateful for. It is telling reli­gious people who have been wander­ing around on foreign soil to return home, to go back to their hometown. How wonderful it is to be able to return home! These are unforgettable words. (283-77, 1997.4.8)
