② 엄청난 은사의 자리에 놓인 우리 - 2

오늘날 통일교인들은 선조들이 이 뜻을 남기기 위해 얼마나 많은 정성을 들였는가를 알아야 합니다.

오늘 원리가 가르쳐 주는 내용이 사실이고 그렇다고 할 수 있기까지는, 그 배후에 수많은 성현들이 정성을 들이고 생명을 희생시켜 가지고 지금까지 이 하나의 목적을 가지고 하나의 종착점을 향하여 역사를 몰아 나오고 시대를 수습하여 나왔다는 것입니다.

이러한 자리에까지 연결시켜 나와 최종적인 교차점에서 상봉한 것이 바로 여러분이라는 것을 알아야 하겠습니다. 그러므로 기적이 있다면 이 이상의 기적이 없는 것입니다. 

우리가 갖춘 내용이 너무나 역사적이요, 너무나 엄청난 것이기 때문에 여기에 일치될 수 있는 인격을 갖추지 못한 사람이 이것을 따르고, 이것을 염려하고 그 주위에서 서성거린다면, 그것은 은혜로서 남아지지 않고, 도리어 그 은혜가 떠나면서 모든 것을 다 가져갈 것입니다. 이것은 결코 간단히 생각해서는 안 되는 것입니다. 

오늘날 이 은사는 개인으로서 소화시킬 수 있는 은사가 아니라 나라와 세계와 더불어 소화해야 할 엄청난 은사인 것입니다. 이것을 생각하게 될 때에, '내가 이 은사를 얼마나 고맙게 생각하는가' 하는 것입니다.

내가 이 은사를 대하여 허리를 굽히게 될 때에, 이 은사가 선조들이 백번 천번 허리를 굽혀 노력한 터전 위에 연결된 것이면 나는 천번 만번 허리를 굽혀도 부족하다는 것을 느낄 줄 아는 마음을 가져야 되는 것입니다.

그 뜻을 사랑하고 그리워하는 데 있어서 밤이나 낮이나 시간을 더하기에 노력하고 피땀을 흘리려는 노력이 있어야만 선조들이 우리를 찾아와 그 정성을 모아 받은 은사를 우리에게 맡길 것이 아니겠느냐 하는 것입니다. 그 은사가 오늘 우리에게 찾아온 은사요, 그런 책임을 진 우리들이라는 것입니다. (43- 293)

② 計り知れない恩賜の立場に置かれた私たち - 2

今日統一教会員たちは、先祖たちがこのみ旨を残すためにどれほど多くの精誠を尽くしたかを知らなければなりません。

今日原理が教えてくれる内容が事実であり、そうだと言えるまでは、その背後に数多くの聖賢たちが精誠を尽くし、生命を犠牲にして、今までこの一つの目的を持って一つの終着点に向かって歴史を走らせ、時代を収拾してきたというのです。

このような立場にまで連結させてきて、最終的な交差点で互いに出会ったのがまさに皆さんだということを知らなければなりません。ですから奇跡があるとすればこれ以上の奇跡はないのです。

原理の備えた内容が大変歴史的で、あまりにもとてつもないものなので、ここに一致しうる人格を備えられない人がこれに従い、これを心配しその周囲でうろうろするなら、それは恵みとして残されず、むしろその恵みが離れながらすべてのものを持っていくでしょう。これは決して簡単に考えてはならないことです。

今日この恩賜は個人として消化させることのできる恩賜でなく、国と世界とともに消化すべきとてつもない恩賜なのです。これを考えるときに、「私がこの恩賜をどれほどありがたく考えるか」というのです。

私がこの恩賜に対して腰をかがめるようになるときに、この恩賜が、先祖たちが百回千回腰をかがめて努力した土台の上に連結されたものなら、自分は千回万回腰をかがめても足らないというこをを感じようとする心を持たなければならないのです。

そのみ旨を愛し慕うにおいて夜でも昼でも時間を加えるのに努力し、血と汗を流そうという努力があってこそ、先祖たちが私たちを訪ねて、その精誠を集めて受けた恩賜を私たちに任せるのではないかというのです。その恩賜が今日私たちを訪れた恩賜であり、そのような責任を負った私たちだというのです。（一九七一・五・二、前本部教会）

② We Aim At The Point Of Awesome Blessings - 2

We, the Unification Church members, must know how much our ancestors devoted to leave this will to us.

What the principle teaches is true and up to the point of being able to say that, lots of sages devoted themselves and sacrificed their lives to steer history to one destination for this one purpose until now, and to cope with their own eras.

They connected everything to this final point and you must know that you are the people who have met with the last intersecting point. 

So there can't be any miracle more surprising than this. The content we have is so historical, and so extraordinary. So if a person, who doesn't have the personality to unite with it, follows but worries about it and walks back and forth and around it, then the blessing will not stay as blessing, it will take everything back with itself when the blessing leaves. You must not think about this lightly. 

Today, this blessing is not a blessing we can deal with as an individual; it is an extraordinary blessing that has to be dealt with as a nation and as the world. When you think about this you say, "How grateful am I for this blessing."

When you bend over to work for this blessing, you must keep in mind that this blessing is connected to you on the foundation that your ancestors made an effort and bent over hundreds and thousands of times, and it's not enough even if you bend over thousands or even ten thousands of times.

In loving that will and longing for it, only if you make an effort to add more time, night or day, to shed tears and blood, will your ancestors visit you to give the blessing of the gathered devotion. That blessing is the blessing which has come to us, and we are responsible for it. (43-293)
