성모송

The Hail Mary

성모송(聖母頌) 또는 성모 기도는 라틴어로 아베 마리아(Ave Maria)라고 하며, 이를 한국어로 직역하면 ‘안녕하십니까, 마리아님’ 또는 ‘축하합니다, 마리아님’이라는 뜻이 있다. 다른 말로는 성모경(聖母經)이라고 한다. 성모송은 기독교(특히 천주교)에서 성모 마리아를 기리며 마리아에게 전구(傳求, 대신 빌어줌)를 간청하는 것이다. 전례(예배) 행위가 아닌 성모 마리아에 대한 공경 즉, 성모 마리아를 성인으로 공경하는 행위이다. 기독교에서 성모송 또는 성모기도를 통해 성모 마리아를 성인으로 공경하는 기독교 교파로는 성공회, 천주교, 정교회가 있다.

역사 [편집]

도미니카(Dominica)는 일요일을 뜻하는 라틴어이다.

콜럼버스가 이 지역을 발견한 날이 일요일이었기 때문에 붙여진 이름이다.

도미니카 공화국(스페인어: República Dominicana, 문화어: 도미니까 공화국)은 중앙아메리카의 섬나라이다. 아이티와 함께 대앤틸리스 제도의 일부인 히스파니올라 섬에 자리잡고 있으며, 섬의 동쪽 2/3를 차지한다. 인구와 면적으로 볼 때, 도미니카 공화국은 카리브 해 국가 중 쿠바에 이어 두 번째로 큰 나라이다. 수도는 산토도밍고이다.
