LG Optimus Sol Hands-On
Just recently LG announced their latest addition to the mid-range smartphone line, the Optimus Sol. At the IFA in Berlin we couldn't help it but get our hands on the phone and see how that screen looks in real life.
The overall aspect of the phone is very polished and we have to admit that the 3.8-inch WVGA "Ultra AMOLED" display, which according to LG, "has a two-fold advanced reflection rate compared to standard AMOLED displays", is really good. Of course the phone is a little bit slow but for a mid-ranger with a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, five-megapixel auto-focus camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, aGPS and DLNA support that's understandable. Everything is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile platform.
