대명형용사는 수와 양을 확인하라                              출제빈도★★★★★

출제 경향: 이어지는 명사의 단/복수에 따라 알맞은 대명형용사를 쓸 수 있어야 한다.

1. many vs. much: many는 복수의 가산명사, much는 단수의 (불)가산명사와 쓴다.

2. (a) few vs. (a) little: few는 복수의 가산명사, little은 단수의 불가산명사와 쓴다. a few와 a little은 긍정, few와 little은 부정의 의미를 나타낸다.

  * little은 동사를 수식하는 부정어로도 쓰이니 주의한다.

   Few people attended the meeting. I counted only 4.

3. both vs. either: both는 복수의 명사와 either(어느 하나)는 단수의 명사와 쓴다.
