Testify that Jesus is Christ (Acts 9:22)
The core of our religious life and ministry is Christ Jesus. When we gather, to worship the Christ, it is evangelism to spread Him, and it is to establish Him as His Man to make disciples. It can be seen through Paul the Apostle, the main character of today' The key to his letter is that Jesus is Christ. Also, Paul the Apostle entered the synagogue, spread Christ, and established the church as disciples of those who heard it.
So why did Paul the Apostle give everything to Christ Jesus? That's because he met Jesus in Acts 9 of the Apostles. It was also that he met Jesus who spoke in the light. To meet in the light is to see the glory of Christ. It's the brightest light that can't be compared to any other light in the world. Therefore, the apostle Paul proves that Jesus is the image of God, and the gospel of Christ reveals God's glory. This is a light that reveals the sinner's sin and reveals the brilliance of Christ. In other words, Christ reveals my sins and reveals his glory in covering them with his grace. Because we have received him in our hearts that we believe in Jesus. It is to escape from the darkness and live in the light. That is the basis of our religious life. By this light, we can not be obscured by the vain glory of the world.
But when we, the children of God, hope for Christ Jesus, the light of glory due to him will not be deceived by the vain and false things of this world. You can face the heaven alone in the deep night, and you can adore his glory. The more we see him in glory, the more our faces shine. Yes, right. Paul the Apostle saw Jesus in the light of glory. He was an apostle who conveyed that light to the foreign world. We hope that those who have been moved from darkness to light will live in the light as children of light. We must hold Christ firmly so that no glory in the world can separate us from his light.
So how can we convey Jesus to the world that we experience? It's done the way that Paul the Apostle did. Paul the Apostle entered the synagogue wherever he went. The synagogue is the point of contact of evangelism for Paul the Apostle. There, he proved that Jesus was Christ in the Bible. Neither do we. We can meet Christ Jesus when we look at the Bible, which serves as the navigation of our religious life. The creator of heaven and earth, the rescuer of the people of God, the sacrifice, the brass snake on the pole in the desert, the leader of the promised land, our song, our wisdom, the one we should love, the one who predicted to save us, came as predicted, and as promised, the Holy Spirit.
If we meet Jesus through the Bible and hope for his glory, we can prove that Jesus is Christ in our lives. I meet my students and prove Christ Jesus. Tell the students why Admiral Lee Sun-shin and King Sejong cannot believe in Jesus while believing, and that Jesus is a man who came to history, who died and resurrected and became your life. Let's meet Jesus in the Bible this year. Let's seek his face. Let us not be deceived by the glory of the world by the light of his glory. Let's live as a man whose face reveals the light of Christ's glory. Then we will prove that Jesus is Christ.
