Should we apply the capital
punishment to rape cases?

Yes, We should
Capital punishment
has been abolished by many Western countries. However, It has proved to be the
most effective form of justice in curbing crime.
Amnesty International has made the abolishment of capital punishment as part of
her 2020 goal but we ask, "on what grounds would the organization campaign
for the rights of a rapist sentenced to death? "

Never exceed "eye for and
eye"
The punishment should
always fit the crime. I think if at any point you exceed "eye for an
eye" then you have committed a crime on the other person.
In this case, Obviously, Rape can't be treated with more rape. But you
certainly can't commit a worse crime upon another in retribution. Does that
then mean the excess punishment you've dealt should rate capital punishment
too? Where do we draw the line?

Way too many problems
At the first level there is the possibility that the man is
innocent. Some women get pregnant with their boyfriend and to avoid shame they
blame a random guy. It took years for a DNA test to be approved for the man to
be declared innocent.
And there are some that claim they were raped and alter evidence or claim that
the man left no DNA. Those cases are too hard to determine if it was rape or
not.
On the second level there is harshness for it. I think life in jail is a better
punishment. A notorious rapist killed himself before going to jail. It was the
one that had women captive in his house. They become the lowest of low in the
prison system and live their sin. All of the prisoners know what they did and
they punish the rapists.
Third. Harsh punishment does not deter crime. People just become more embolden
to hide themselves. China and all those nations cannot stop crime. Crime will
happen.
Fourth. College boys from wealthy families and all star athletes will never be
punished. They had video evidence and eye witness testimony, But in the end
those types of people on the top can always get away with crime. They stay at
low level prisons playing ping pong and watching TV with all the amenities.
True justice cannot be achieved.

Capital punishment is an
extremity.
It
should be noted that I already disapprove of the death penalty, And one of the
chief arguments is that it deters crime. That is simply untrue, This makes it sound
like these are the people that care about the ramifications of their actions or
do it in the moment. Also there is a difference between serial rapist and a
single rape, Or is this being a catch all?
