학교영어 시설 담당 주무관님을 영어로 (utility worker)

저희 학교 주무관님이 경남교육청 월간 홍보집 아이좋아 11월호 ‘칭찬합시다’ 코너에 실리셔서
원어민 샘한테 설명하던 중 시설 담당 주무관님을 가리키는 용어가 문득 궁금해졌습니다.

He fixes everything in school. 이라고밖에 말을 못했는데

"utility worker"라고 알려주네요.
maintenance worker도 사용이 가능하긴 한데 utilty work가 더 적합할 것 같다네요.

또는 caretaker나 handyman도 가능

저희 학교 주무관님은 용접, 전지 등 정말 못하시는 일이 없으신데,
결국 저희 학교 주무관님은 "He’s just like MacGyver."라고 설명하니 완전 공감을 하는 눈치네요.

참고로 용접은 weld(welding/welder), 전지(가지치기)는 pruning 또는 trimming이라고 하네요.

※Pruning과 trimming의 차이는?
