누가복음14장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

하나님의 사람들이 영적으로 회복되기 위해서는 올바른 성경말씀을 읽어야 하기에 신약 성경말씀을 올립니다.

물론 이 성경 말씀들도 아직은 부족하지만 부족한대로 하나님의 성령께서 자신이 말씀하신 말씀들을 올바르게

이해시켜주시기를 성령님께 간구 드립니다. 이 말씀들을 읽으시는 동안 성령께서 인도해주시기를 바랍니다.

1. 안식일에 그분께서 빵을 잡수시러 우두머리 바리새인들 가운데 한 사람의 집에 들어가시니 그들이 그분을

    지켜보더라.

And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

2. 보라, 그분 앞에 수종이 있는 어떤 남자가 있더라.

And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.

3. 예수님께서 응답하여 율법사들과 바리새인들에게 말씀하여 이르시되, 안식일에 병을 고치는 것이 율법에 맞느냐?

    하시니

And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

4. 그들이 잠잠하거늘 그분께서 그를 데려다가 고쳐서 보내시고

And they held their peace. And he took [him], and healed him, and let him go;

5. 또 그들에게 응답하여 이르시되, 너희 중에 누가 나귀나 소가 있는데 그것이 구덩이에 빠지면 안식일에 그것을 곧

    끌어내지 아니하겠느냐? 하신즉

And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

6. 그들이 이것들에 대하여 다시 그분께 대답하지 못하니라.

And they could not answer him again to these things.

7. 그분께서 초대받은 자들이 으뜸가는 자리를 택하는 것을 눈여겨보시고 그들에게 비유를 들어 말씀하시되,

And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them,

8. 네가 어떤 사람으로부터 결혼식에 초대를 받거든 가장 높은 자리에 앉지 말라. 그렇지 않으면 너보다 더 귀한 사람이

    초대를 받았을 때에

When thou art bidden of any [man] to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;

9. 너와 그를 초대한 자가 와서 네게 이르기를, 이 사람에게 자리를 내주라, 하리니 그때에 네가 수치를 당하며 가장

    낮은 자리를 잡게 될까 염려하노라.

And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.

10. 오직 네가 초대를 받거든 가서 가장 낮은 자리에 앉으라. 그러면 너를 초대한 자가 와서 네게 이르기를, 친구여,

      더 높은 데로 올라가라, 하리니 그때에 네가 너와 함께 음식 앞에 앉은 자들 앞에서 영예를 얻으리라.

But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

11. 누구든지 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리라, 하시니라.

For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

12. 그 뒤에 그분께서 또 자기를 초대한 자에게 이르시되, 네가 점심이나 저녁을 만들거든 네 친구나 형제나 친척이나

      부유한 이웃을 부르지 말라. 그들이 또한 너를 다시 초대하여 네게 되갚을까 염려하노라.

Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor [thy] rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

13. 그러나 네가 잔치를 베풀거든 가난한 자와 불구자와 다리 저는 자와 눈먼 자들을 부르라.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

14. 그리하면 그들이 네게 보답하지 못하므로 네게 복이 있으리니 의인들이 부활할 때에 네가 보답을 받으리라,

      하시니라.

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

15. 그분과 함께 음식 앞에 앉은 자들 가운데 하나가 이것들을 듣고 그분께 이르되, [하나님]의 왕국에서 빵을 먹을

      자가 복이 있나이다, 하매

And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed [is] he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

16. 이에 그분께서 그에게 이르시되, 어떤 사람이 성대한 만찬을 만들고 많은 사람을 초대하고는

Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

17. 식사 시간에 그 초대받은 자들에게 자기 종을 보내어 이르기를, 오라, 이제 모든 것이 준비되었노라, 하매

And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

18. 그들이 다 하나같이 변명하기 시작하여 첫째 사람은 그에게 이르되, 나는 땅을 샀으므로 반드시 가서 그것을

      보아야 하니 원하건대 나를 용서하라, 하고

And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

19. 다른 사람은 이르되, 나는 소 다섯 겨리를 사서 그것들을 시험하러 가니 원하건대 나를 용서하라, 하며

And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

20. 또 다른 사람은 이르되, 나는 장가들었으니 그런즉 가지 못하겠노라, 하므로

And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

21. 이에 그 종이 와서 자기 주인에게 이 일들을 알리매 그때에 집 주인이 노하여 자기 종에게 이르되,

      빨리 도시의 거리와 골목길로 나가서 가난한 자와 불구자와 다리 저는 자와 눈먼 자들을 여기로 데려오라, 하니라.

So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

22. 그 종이 이르기를, 주인이여, 주인께서 명령하신 대로 하였으되 여전히 자리가 있나이다, 하니

And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.

23. 주인이 종에게 이르되, 큰길과 산울타리로 나가서 그들을 억지로라도 들어오게 하여 내 집을 채우라.

And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.

24. 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 전에 초대한 그 사람들 중에서는 아무도 내 만찬을 맛보지 못하리라, 하였느니라,

      하시니라.

For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

25. 큰 무리가 그분과 함께 갈 때에 그분께서 돌아서서 그들에게 이르시되,

And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

26. 어떤 사람이 내게 오면서 자기 아버지나 어머니나 아내나 자녀나 형제나 자매나 참으로 자기 생명도 미워하지

      아니하면 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하고

If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

27. 누구든지 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따라오지 아니하는 자도 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하리라.

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

28. 너희 중에 누가 망대를 세우려 할 때에 자기가 가진 것이 그것을 완성하기에 충분한지 먼저 앉아서 그 비용을

     계산하지 아니하겠느냐?

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have [sufficient] to finish [it]?

29. 그렇게 하지 아니하여 그가 기초만 놓은 채 그것을 완성하지 못하면 그것을 보는 자가 다 그를 조롱하기 시작하여

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish [it], all that behold [it] begin to mock him,

30. 이르되, 이 사람이 짓는 일을 시작하고 완성하지는 못하였다, 하리라.

Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

31. 또는 어떤 왕이 다른 왕과 전쟁을 하려 할 때에 자기를 치려고 이만 명을 거느리고 오는 자를 자기가 만 명으로

      당해 낼 수 있을지 먼저 앉아서 잘 생각해 보지 아니하겠느냐?

Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

32. 만일 그렇게 할 수 없다면 다른 왕이 아직 멀리 있을 때에 그가 사신을 보내어 평화의 조건을 구하느니라.

Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

33. 이와 같이 너희 중에 누구든지 자기의 모든 소유를 버리지 아니하는 자는 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하리라.

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

34. 소금은 좋은 것이로되 만일 소금이 제 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 그것의 맛을 내리요?

Salt [is] good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

35. 그것이 땅에도 거름더미에도 적합하지 아니하므로 사람들이 그것을 내버리느니라. 들을 귀 있는 자는 들을지어다,

      하시니라.

It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; [but] men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
