The 37th Method :
Revering Hwaven(Daecheon)... Honoring and Upholding Heaven... Matter 43.
"Revering Hwaven"
(Daecheon) means that one′s head is continuously upholding and bearing Heaven.
When an object rests upon one′s head, even something as minuscule
as a single strand of hair can be instantly felt.
If you honor and uphold Heaven as though a heavy weight is balanced on your head,
you would not dare to tilt your head or slouch your body carelessly.
If you reveree and hold Heaven in this exact manner,
your heartfelt sincerity will surely reach the state of divine response.
[Original Text]
■ 戴天者는 頭戴天也라 有物在頭면 乎重可覺이니
(대천자는 두대천야라 유물재두면 호중가각이니)
Those who revere Heaven are as if their heads are physically bearing Heaven.
If an object is upon the head, even the weight of a tiny head(毫,호) can be perceived.
(Note :'乎(호)' in the text appears to be a typo for '毫(호)',
Which means a fine hair or minute detail).
■ 戴天을 如戴重物이면 不敢斜頭而縱身이니
(대천을 여대중물이면 불감사두이종신이니)
If one upholds Heaven as if bearing a heavy burden,
they will not dare to tilt their head or allow their body to slouch loosely.
■ 敬戴如此면 其誠意가 能至於感應也라.
(경대여차면 기성의가 능지어감응야라.)
If one reveres and bwars Heaven in this manner,
their deep sincerity will successfully attain a mutual divine response.
