The challenges to the lives of witnesses develop anew at different times and places. There was no smooth person, no country, no era. But all those situations served as an opportunity to prove the power of the gospel and reveal the rule of Jesus Christ. This is because there is a God who presides over events and situations.

There seem to be obstacles in our life paths without exception, as there are many paths. Paul's first round was also about the missionaries of Igonion and Rusdra during their travels. Paul and the Barnabas made an amazing history of victory by boldly proving the word of the Lord's grace wherever they went. Along with this history of victory, we also shared the history of the division that hindered and persecuted this history. Of course, despite this history of persecution and interference, the hand of the Lord, along with the missionaries, achieves the history of victory.

Paul and Barnabas, who were expelled from Andioc in Visidia by the Jews, went to Igonion. Missionaries spread the gospel there as well. The two apostles went on to enter the Jewish synagogue together and preach the gospel. This led to an amazing history that was heard and believed by the numerous groups of Judea and Hela. However, there was also the persecution of Jews who did not obey. They instigated the Gentiles' hearts and made Paul and Barnabas feel evil (2) In the meantime, the two apostles boldly spread the gospel through the help of the Lord.

At this time, the Lord made us carry out targets and articles with our hands. It is not well known what the targets and articles that appeared through Paul and Barnabas were specifically. Throughout the entire history of the Acts of the Apostles, it seems that the disease has left, a man like a sitting duck has been sickened, and a history of the power of the Holy Spirit, such as dialect, has occurred. The Lord has made these targets and articles prove his word of grace (3).
-
Thanks to the history of the Holy Spirit's power, the two apostles boldly proved the word of grace, the gospel of Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection to become our Lord and Christ. As a result, the group in the castle was divided into two groups, one after the two apostles, and one after the Jews (4). Perhaps many people followed the two apostles. When the two apostles learned of this, they left there and went to the vicinity of Rusdra and Thebes.

They also delivered the word of the Lord's grace, the death of Jesus' cross, and the gospel of resurrection (6). There seems to be no gospel that everyone welcomes. Even the gospel that does not create discord and separation may not be the true gospel (Sog 12:51-52). So what should be concerned is not the inconvenience and separation caused by the gospel, but the false unity hidden by the vague gospel. Even if there are those who oppose the gospel, the apostolic party boldly delivered the gospel through the blessing of the Lord until the Lord gave permission.

Several objections and threats forced them to flee to other areas. But this was not a flight for them, but a move of new ministry. When Paul saw that he had been obedient to the Word since he was born, he noticed that he had a "faith worthy of salvation," and ordered him only to rise (10a). Then he rose immediately: "Whether the man runs" (10b).

The people of Rusdra thought that the gods Tsu and Herme, their servants, had re-emerged when they saw Paul and Barnabas rise up with the power of God. They brought offerings before Paul and Barnabas and bowed to them to serve them (13). Then Paul and Barnabas heard this, tore off their clothes, ran into the crowd, and shouted, "Hey, how are you doing this? We are people with the same sex as you, so to preach the gospel to you is to abandon this futility and return to God who has built heaven and earth, the sea, and all of them, and to God who is alive (15)."

Herod was judged to die because he was flattered by the false cheers of the people who revered him as a divine being (Act 12:23), but Paul and Barnabas did not take any glory that only God could have. Rather, he took it as an opportunity for the people to stop idolatry and return to God, the living creator. The temptation of self-image, as much as persecution, is a powerful weapon of the division that knocks over the gospel testimonies. I must not be distracted by the excessive praise that obscures my eyes and makes my ears dizzy.

Who do I help? Why do I have to cause trouble?
How do I react when someone else compliments me?
What do I do when there is a traffic jam?
What does it take to play the role of light well even in the midst of new challenges?

Paul and Barnabas used it as a way to reveal the history of the Holy Spirit despite various distractions, and saw that they kept their duty and could focus their attention on only one God even when they could receive divine worship. After half a century of living, there were times when the road was blocked. Although I don't know, the Lord blocked the road to lead me to a new path. Lord, let us not be discouraged when the road is blocked and see the path prepared by the Lord. Help us make a U-turn on the great and amazing path you lead.
