Knowing God’s Will  하나님의 뜻을 알기

한 젊은이가 미래를 맞이하면서

내년에 어떤 일이 생길지 확실하지가 않자

“하나님의 뜻을 아는 사람은 아무도 없다”라고 결론을 내립니다.

A young man facing the future and

unsure of what the next year would bring,

concluded, “Nobody knows what God’s will is.”

그가 옳은 것일까요?

미래에 대한 확실성이 부족하다는 것을

하나님의 뜻을 알 수 없다는 것으로 해석할 수 있을까요?

Is he right?

Does a lack of certainty about the future

translate into not knowing God’s will?

하나님의 뜻을 안다는 것의 개념은

종종 미래의 한 시점에서

어떤 특별한 상황에 처하게 될 것을 안다는 것으로 국한되곤 합니다.

The concept of knowing God’s will is often limited

to discerning what specific situation

we will be in at some future time.

비록 하나님의 특별한 인도를 구하는 것이

하나님의 뜻을 아는 것의 일부이긴 하지만,

다른 한편으로 중요한 것은

매일 매일 명확히 정의된 하나님의 뜻을 따르는 것입니다.

Although seeking God’s specific leading is part of it,

another aspect that is just as vital is

to follow the clearly defined

elements of God’s will each and every day.

예를 들면, 우리가 그리스도를 반대하는 사람들에게

도전이 되는 선량한 시민이 되는 것(벧전 2:15),

어떤 일이 있더라도 하나님께 감사를 표하는 것(살전 5:18),

부도덕한 것을 피하면서 성적으로 깨끗한 것(살전 4:3),

성령의 지배를 받고 사는 것(엡 5:18),

주님께 찬송 드리는 것(19절), 그

리고 다른 믿는 사람들에게 순복하는 것(21절)이 하나님의 뜻입니다.

For instance, it is God’s will for us

to be good citizens as a challenge to those opposed to Christ (1 Peter 2:15),

to give God thanks no matter what (1 Thess. 5:18),

to be sanctified sexually, avoiding immorality (1 Thess. 4:3),

to live under the Holy Spirit’s control (Eph. 5:18),

to sing to Him (v.19), and to submit

이들뿐 아니라 더 많은 영역에서 하나님께 복종함으로써,

우리는 로마서 12장 2절에서 말한

“하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신뜻”

에 가까운 삶을 더 잘 살아가게 되는 것입니다.

As we submit to God in these and other areas,

we are more likely to live in what Romans 12:2 calls God’s

“good and acceptable and perfect will.”

하나님께서 승인하시는 미소와 함께 살아가면

주님은 우리의 미래를 인도하십니다.

Living with God’s smile of approval

leads to His guidance for the future.

우리가 미래에 대한 하나님의 뜻을 알고자 노력하면서,

우리는 반드시 지금 우리가 이미 알고 있는 것을 실천해 가야 합니다.

As we seek to know God’s will for the future,

we must also act on what we already know now

Ephesians 에베소서 5:17-21  

[엡] 5:17	분별 없이 어리석은 자가 되지 말고, 주님이 원하시는 것이 무엇인지 배우도록 노력하십시오. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
[엡] 5:18	술 취하지 마십시오. 여러분의 영적인 삶을 갉아먹을 것입니다. 성령으로 충만해지도록 힘쓰십시오. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
[엡] 5:19	시와 찬미와 영적인 노래로 서로 이야기하며, 마음으로 주님께 노래하고 찬송하십시오. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,
[엡] 5:20	우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 하나님 아버지께 항상 감사를 드리십시오. always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[엡] 5:21

그리스도를 두려워하며 존경하는 마음으로 서로 순종하십시오.

          Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Knowing God’s will for the future Comes when we follow today What He’s revealed in the Scriptures As His commands to obey. Love and obey the Lord every day, and He will unfold your future.

미래를 위한 하나님의 뜻은 하나님이 명령하신 대로 그분이 성경구절에 밝히신 것을 오늘 우리가 따를 때 알게 된다 주님을 매일 매일 사랑하며 복종하라. 그러면 주님은 당신의 미래를 보여주실 것이다.
