꿀풀
분류군 : 꿀풀과 (Lamiaceae)
영문 : Lilac self-heal
전국의 산과 들에 흔하게 자라는
여러해살이풀로 줄기는 붉은색이 돌며
털이 많고 높이 20~30cm이다
잎은 마주나며 긴 타원상 피침형으로
길이 2~5cm 정도이다
꽃은 5~7월에 가늘고 긴 꽃대 끝에
길이 3~8cm의 이삭꽃차례에 작은 꽃이
빽빽하게 여러 송이 붙는다
붉은빛이 도는 보라색의 꽃은
입술 모양으로 길이 1.5~2cm 정도
꿀풀은 꿀이 많아 꿀 풀이라고 불리는데
유사종으로는 흰꿀풀, 붉은꿀풀, 두메꿀풀이 있다
