보루넬 (레드 드래곤)

물속에서 둥실둥실 떠오르다가 다시 가라앉으며 투덜거린다.

“하아… 난 물을 싫어해. 목욕은 좋아하지! 물에 뜨는 것도 안 되고, 날개도 젖고… 괜히 왔단 말이야. 너희들도 숨 못 쉬잖아. 나는 그나마 폐활량이 엄청나서 괜찮지만!”

배는 아슬아슬하게 바닥에 끌리고 있다.

사제가 말한다

“나도 이런 습한 환경은 싫다. 풀잎 밟는 감촉이 없는 땅은 내게 거슬려.”

그는 마법으로 *아쿠아 버블(Aqua Bubble)’을 형성해 자신과 너의 주변에 산소막을 유지시켜준다.

너 (용사)는 수중을 헤엄치며 칼날을 고쳐 쥔다.

조용히 지나가는 유령 어부들 사이를 빠르게 통과하며 속삭인다.

“말은 많지만… 물속에서도 싸울 순 있잖아. 그리고 보루넬, 네 배는 방패 같아서 나름 든든하다고.”

“이 배는 지혜와 마력과 전설적인 식욕의 결정체라고!”

폐허 한가운데, 빛나는 유물 같은 구조물이 나타난다.

검은 산호와 나선형 돌기둥으로 감싸인, **‘심연의 숨결문’**이라 불리는 마굴의 입구.

문 앞에는 익사자들의 정령, 물로 된 갑옷을 입은 사하킨 전사, 그리고 물방울처럼 분열하는 괴수들이 자리 잡고 있다.

사제가 말한다

“우린 지금, 숨도 마법으로 겨우 이어가는 중이다. 이 안은 더 깊고, 더 압박이 심할 거야.”

“하지만 여길 지나야… 이 바다에 들끓는 오염의 근원을 끊을 수 있어.”

보루넬 (한숨 쉬며 마지막 준비):

“좋아. 이왕 젖은 김에 끝까지 가보자고.

내가 무너지면 그건 네 잘못이야, 용사.”

그는 다시 마력으로 전기장을 온몸에 휘감는다. 수중 전투에 불리한 만큼, 전기 방출은 순간적이지만 치명적이다. 검이 물살을 가르며, 광어 머리와 등지느러미에 눈이 달린 기형 물고기 괴물들이 사방에서 몰려든다.

보루넬은 번개를 품은 채 몸을 숙이고, 용사는 검을 크게 휘둘러 물살을 갈라 괴물들을 밀쳐낸다.

사제는 연속된 방패 마법으로 전방을 막는다.

보루넬: “…전기, 더 이상 못써… 마력이 거의 바닥이야…!”

용사: “잠깐만 더 버텨! 거의 다 도착했어!”

사제: “보루넬! 아쿠아 버블이 약해지고 있어요! 숨 한 번 더 참아줘요!”

물속에서 보루넬의 비늘이 무겁게 가라앉는다.

보루넬: “당장… 물 밖으로 나가면 안 될까?! 이거 몇 분째인데!!”

용사: “여기서 다 마셔버릴 셈이야?!”

보루넬: “진심으로 마실 수 있을지도 몰라!! 으으으…!”

사제: “출구! 저기 보여요!”

급류처럼 물살을 타고 도달한 수중 마굴의 출구.

세 사람은 괴물들의 추격을 받으며 가까스로 물 밖의 고대 유적 홀로 빠져나온다.

보루넬: (물 밖으로 나와 헉헉대며) “…하아… 물속은…

Borunel (Red Dragon)

He floats up in the water and then sinks back down and grumbles.

"Sigh... I don't like water. I love bathing! I can't float on water, my wings are wet... I shouldn't have come. You guys can't breathe either. I'm okay because I have a lot of lung capacity!"

The ship is narrowly drawn to the floor.

"I don't like this humid environment either. The ground that doesn't feel like stepping on the grass is annoying to me."

He magically forms an "Aqua Bubble" to keep an oxygen membrane around him and you.

You (the warrior) swim through the water and fix the blade.

Whisper through the quietly passing ghost fishermen.

"You talk a lot, but... You can fight in the water, too. And Borunel, your stomach is like a shield, so it's rather reassuring."

"This ship is the crystal of wisdom, magic, and legendary appetite!"

In the middle of the ruins, a shiny relic-like structure appears.

Enclosed in black corals and spiral stone columns, **The entrance to the magul called the 'Breath of the abyss'.

At the door sits the spirits of the drowned, a Sahakin warrior in water armor, and a trickle of divisive monsters.

says the priest

"We are now, barely continuing our breath with magic. It's going to be deeper, more pressure in here."

"But it's past here... We can cut off the source of pollution seething in this sea."

Borunel (breathing and getting ready for the last):

"Okay. Since it's wet, let's go all the way.

If I fall, it's your fault, warrior."

He winds the electric field all over again with horsepower. The electricity emission is instantaneous but fatal, as it is disadvantageous for underwater combat. As the sword cuts through the current, deformed fish monsters with halibut heads and eyes on their dorsal fins flock from all sides.

Borunel leans down with lightning, and the warrior swings his sword loudly to split the current and push the monsters away.

The priest blocks the front with a series of shield magic.

BORONNEL: "…Electricity, I can't use it anymore... Mana is almost at rock bottom...!”

Soldier: "Hold on for a second! We're almost there!"

Priest: "Borunel! Aqua Bubble is weakening! Hold your breath again!"

The scales of the borunel sink heavily in the water.

BORONNEL: "Right now... Can we get out of the water?! How many minutes has this been!!"

Soldier: "Are you going to drink it all up here?!"

Borunel: "Maybe I can drink it from the bottom of my heart!! Ugh...!”

Priest: "Exit! I see it there!"

The exit of the underwater macho reached by current like a torrent.

The three manage to escape to an ancient ruins hall outside the water, chased by monsters.

BORUNEL: (Out of the water and huffing) "…(Sighs)… In the water...
