Bible Reading - Acts 2:1~11

2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, 오순절날이 왔을 때
they were all together in one place. 그들은 한 장소에 모두 함께 있었다.

2:2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven 
갑자기 거친 바람이 부는 것과 같은 소리가 하늘로부터 와서
and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 그들이 앉아있는 집 전체를 채웠다.

2:3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
그들은 마치 불의 혀 같은 것이 갈라져 각자 위에 내려앉는 것을 보았다.

2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit 그들 모두가 성령으로 충만해졌고
and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
성령의 인도하심에 따라 다른 방언으로 말하기 시작했다.

2:5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
이제 하늘 아래 모든 나라들로부터 온 하나님을 경외하는 유대인들이 예루살렘에 머물고 있는 중이었다.

2:6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment(어리둥절하여 당황하여), 
그들이 이 소리를 들었을 때에 군중들이 어리둥절한 표정으로 모여들었다.
because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
각 사람이 자신의 언어로 말하고 있는 것을 그들에게서 들었기 때문이다.

2:7 Utterly(완전히) amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
완전히 놀라서 그들은 "말하고 있는 이 모든 사람들이 갈릴리 사람들이 아닌가?"하고 물었다.

2:8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?
그래서 우리 각자가 그 자신의 방언으로 그들에게서 듣는 그것이 어떠한가?

2:9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 파르티아인들, 메데인들, 엘람인들,메소포타미아 거주자들, 유대, 가파도기아, 폰투스 그리고 아시아
2:10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome
프리기아 그리고 팜필리아, 이집트 그리고 구레네 근처 리비아의 많은 지역들, 로마 출신 방문자들

2:11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism);유대인들과 유대교로 개종한 자들
 Cretans and Arabs-- 그레데 사람들과 아라비아 사람들
we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!"
우리는 우리 자신의 방언들로 하나님의 놀라운 일들을 선포하는 그들에게서 듣는다.
