Bible Reading - Acts 2:32~39

2:32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.

하나님께서 이 예수를 생명으로 올라우셨으며, 우리는 모두 그 사실의 증인들이다.

2:33 Exalted to the right hand of God, 하나님의 오른손으로 높임을 받음으로  

he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit 

그는 아버지로부터 약속된 성령을 받으셨으며 

and has poured out what you now see and hear.

그리고 그는 너희들이 지금 보고 듣는 것을 부어주셨다.

2:34 For David did not ascend to heaven, 다윗은 하늘로 올라가지 않았으나 

and yet he said, "'The Lord said to my Lord: 

그는 말씀하시기를  "주께서 내 주에게 말씀하셨다.

"Sit at my right hand 2:35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."'

내가 너의 대적들을 너의 발을 위한 발등상을 만들기까지 내 우편에 앉으라."

2:36 "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: 그러므로 모든 이스라엘은 이것을 확신해야 한다.

God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." 하나님은 너희가 십자가에 못박았던 이 예수를 주님과 그리스도로 만드셨다.

2:37 When the people heard this, 그 사람들이 이것을 들었을 때,

they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 

그들은 마음에 찔려 베드로와 다른 사도들에게 말했다.

"Brothers, what shall we do?""형제들아, 우리가 무엇을 해야할 것인가?"

2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

베드로가 대답했다."당신들의 죄가 사함받기 위해 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 너희 모든 사람들이 회개하고 세례를 받으라.

And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 그러면 당신들은 성령의 선물을 받을 것이다.

2:39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call." 그 약속은 너희와 너희의 자녀들과 멀리 떨어져있는 모든 자들과 주 우리 하나님께서 부르실 모든 자들을 위한 것이다.
