Years 7 & 8 - Visit onboard the Plastic Odyssey  플라스틱 오디세이 선상 방문

Last week the Year 7 and 8 students had the opportunity to visit the Plastic Odyssey. This is a 3 year maritime exhibition that is travelling around the world to meet and exchange information with local recycling entrepreneurs in order to develop sustainable solutions to plastic pollution. They also explore and share alternatives to build a world without plastics.

During this trip the students had a tour of the ship, The Plastic Odyssey, and got a chance to speak to the people onboard and understand the work they are doing around the world. During the tour they were shown how people recycle plastic and make it in to other long lasting items such as furniture.

지난주 7학년과 8학년 학생들은 플라스틱 오디세이를 방문할 기회를 가졌습니다. 이 전시회는 플라스틱 오염에 대한 지속 가능한 해결책을 개발하기 위해 전 세계를 순회하며 지역 재활용 기업가들을 만나고 정보를 교환하는 3년간의 해양 전시회입니다. 또한 플라스틱 없는 세상을 만들기 위한 대안을 모색하고 공유합니다.
이번 여행에서 학생들은 '플라스틱 오디세이'라는 배를 둘러보고 탑승자들과 이야기를 나누고 전 세계에서 하고 있는 일을 이해할 수 있는 기회를 가졌습니다. 투어 기간 동안 학생들은 플라스틱을 재활용하여 가구와 같은 다른 오래 지속되는 품목으로 만드는 방법을 보여주었습니다.
