2:40 With many other words he warned them; 많은 다른 말씀들로 그는 그들에게 경고했다.
and he pleaded with them, 그리고 그는 그들에게 간청했다.
"Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." 이 타락한 세대로부터 너희 자신들을 구원하라.

2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, 그의 메세지를 받았던 자들은 세례를 받았다.

and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
그리고 대략 3천명의 사람들이 그날에 그들의 숫자에 더하여졌다.

2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 그들은 그들 자신들을 사도들의 가르침과 교제와 빵을 나눔과 기도에 바쳤다.

2:43 Everyone was filled with awe, 모든 사람들이 경외감으로 가득찼고 
and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.
많은 이적과 기적적인 표적들이 사도들에 의해 행해졌다.

2:44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.
모든 믿는 자들이 함께 했고 모든 것을 공동으로 소유했다.

2:45 Selling their possessions and goods, 그들의 소유들과 물건들을 팔아서 
they gave to anyone as he had need. 그들은 필요한 사람에게 누구든지 베풀었다.

2:46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. 
매일 그들은 성전 마당에서 함께 만나기를 계속했다.
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
2:47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
그들은 집에서 빵을 떼어 함께 기쁘고 진실한 마음으로 먹으며 하나님을 찬양하고 모든 사람의 호감을 얻었다.
And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
그리고 주님께서 날마다 구원받는 자들을 그들의 숫자에 더하셨다.
