AIMS Year 5 Team Maths Competition.  AIMS 5년차 팀 수학 대회

On 20th February 2025, seven Year 5 mathematicians made the journey south to Marlborough College in Johor to take part in the Year 5 AIMS Team Maths Competition. Our two teams, Team A1 and SCIPS Panthers took on 27 other teams from international schools around the country over seven rounds which each presented their own challenges.With rounds that ranged from trying to build a complex cube-based structure, to running around the school building hunting down correct answers, the competition tested every ounce of mathematical (and endurance!) skills from our students.Our SCIPS children showed fantastic attitude and amazing resilience as they were confronted with multiple advanced problems to solve. SCIPS Panthers even received a special mention from the organisers for taking part as a team of 3 at short notice. A massive congratulations to our Year 5 participants for all their hard work! 

2025년 2월 20일, 7명의 5학년 수학자들이 5학년 AIMS 팀 수학 대회에 참가하기 위해 조호르의 말버러 칼리지로 남쪽으로 이동했습니다. 우리 두 팀인 팀 A1과 SCIPS 팬더스는 7라운드에 걸쳐 전국 국제학교에서 27개 팀과 맞붙어 각자의 도전 과제를 제시했습니다.
복잡한 큐브 기반 구조를 만들려고 노력하는 것부터 정답을 찾기 위해 학교 건물을 뛰어다니는 것까지 다양한 라운드가 진행된 이번 대회에서는 학생들의 모든 수학적(그리고 인내심!) 능력을 테스트했습니다.
우리 SCIPS 아이들은 해결해야 할 여러 가지 고급 문제에 직면했을 때 환상적인 태도와 놀라운 회복력을 보여주었습니다. 심지어 SCIPS 팬더스는 단기간에 3명씩 팀으로 참여한 것에 대해 주최 측으로부터 특별한 언급을 받기도 했습니다. 5년차 참가자 여러분의 노고를 진심으로 축하드립니다!
