Bible Reading - Acts 3:11~20

3:11 While the beggar held on to Peter and John, 거지가 베드로와 요한을 붙잡고 있는 동안,

all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon's Colonnade. 모든 사람들은 솔로몬 행각이라고 불리우는 장소에 있는 그들에게 달려 왔다.

3:12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: 베드로가 이것을 보고 그들에게 말했다.

"Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? 이스라엘 사람들아, 왜 이것이 너희를 놀라게 하는가?

Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

왜 너희는 우리 자신의 능력과 경건으로 우리가 이 사람을 걷게 만들었던 것처럼 우리를 주목하는가?

3:13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.

아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님, 곧 우리 선조들의 하나님께서 그의 종 예수를 영광스럽게 하셨다.

You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate,

너희는 그가 죽임을 당하도록 넘겨주었으며 빌라도 앞에서 그를 부인하였다.

though he had decided to let him go. 비록 그가 그를 풀어주도록 결정했지만

3:14 You disowned the Holy and Righteous One 너희는 거룩하고 의로운 자를 부인하고 

and asked that a murderer be released to you.살인자를 너희에게 풀어주도록 요구했다.

3:15 You killed the author of life, 너희는 생명의 주관자를 죽였으나 

but God raised him from the dead. 하나님은 그를 죽은 자들로부터 살리셨다.

We are witnesses of this.우리가 이 일에 증인들이다. 

3:16 By faith in the name of Jesus, 예수의 이름을 믿음으로 

this man whom you see and know was made strong.너희가 보고 아는 이 사람이 강해졌다.

 It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.

너희가 보는 것처럼 예수의 이름과 그를 통해 왔던 믿음이 그에게 이 완전한 치유를 주었다.

3:17 "Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

지금 형제들아, 나는 너희가 너희의 지도자들이 했던 것처럼 무지하게 행하였던 것을 안다.

3:18 But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Christ would suffer.

그러나 이것이 바로 하나님께서 모든 선지자들을 통해 예언하신 대로, 곧 그의 그리스도께서 고난을 받으실 것이라는 말씀을 이루신 방법이다.

3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

그래서 회개하고 하나님께 돌이키라, 그러면 너희의 죄가 씻어질 것이며 상쾌하게 하는 시간이 주님으로부터 올 것이다. 

3:20 and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you--even Jesus.

그리고 그는 너희들을 위해 예비하신 그리스도, 곧 예수님을 보낼지도 모른다.
