A great turnout last week for the Building Independence in Young Learners workshop held at Nexus!

Our Nexus teachers led the session, sharing practical tips and effective strategies with Early Years to Year 2 parents. Independence in young learners can start with managing simple, everyday routines such as tidying up belongings and encouraging children to plan ahead by thinking about what they need for school each day, along with many other approaches to support children in becoming more independent.
