Rare White African Lion Cubs Born in Australia 
 

Does it get any cuter than this? These white African lion cubs are just five weeks old born at a zoo in Tasmania. Only the third time that the endangered animals have successfully been bred in Australia.
They are only in zoos and breeding institutions around the world and there's less than 300 of them.
The rare lions are not albino. They have a recessive gene responsible for their white coats. They were taken from their mother to get used to being cared for by humans.
He doesn't like bath time very much so he gets a bit grumpy when it's bath time. He'll grab hold of the tissues and the towels and get his little teeth out. The other one is better feeder on the milk, likes feed time a lot better.
The cubs won't stay in Australia. In about nine months they'll likely move.
These are part of a very special breeding program, which these will go back overseas. I'm not sure which countries they'll be going to but they'll certainly be leaving the shores of Australia.
In the meantime, Australians will get to visit them at the zoo. And there's even a competition to give the cubs' names.
