Bible Reading - Acts 4:11~19

11 Jesus is “ ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’
예수께서는 "너희 건축자들이 거절했고 모퉁이 돌이 되었던 그 돌이시다."

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
구원은 다른 누구에게서도 찾을 수 없으며, 하늘 아래 다른 이름으로는 우리가 구원받을 수 없다.”

13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
그들은 베드로와 요한의 용기를 보고 그들이 배우지 못한 평범한 사람들이라는 것을 깨닫고 놀랐으며, 그들이 예수와 함께 있었던 사람들이라는 것을 주목했다.

14 But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them,
그러나 그들은 치료받은 그 사람이 그들과 함께 거기에 서있는 것을 볼 수 있었기 때문에
there was nothing they could say. 그들이 할 수 있는 말이 아무 것도 없었다.

15 So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.
그래서 그들은 그들에게 산헤드린 에서 물러 가도록 주문하고서 함께 의논했다.

16“What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it.
“이 사람들을 어떻게 해야 할까요?” 그들이 물었다. “예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람이 그들이 놀라운 표적을 행했다는 것을 알고 있고, 우리는 그것을 부인할 수 없습니다.”

17 But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name.”
그러나 이것이 사람들 중에서 더 퍼지는 것을 막으려면 우리는 그들이 이 이름으로 더 이상 말하지 않도록 경고해야만 합니다.

18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
그러자, 그들은 다시 그들을 불러서 예수의 이름으로 전혀 말하거나 가르치지 않도록 명령했다.

19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!
그러나 베드로와 요한은 "하나님의 목전에서 너희 말을 듣는 것과 그(하나님)의 말을 듣는 것 중에 어느 것이 옳은가? 너희가 판단하라."하고 대답했다.
