Bible Reading - Acts 5:11~20

5:11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.

큰 두려움이 전 교회와 이 사건들에 대해 들었던 모든 사람들을 사로잡았다.

5:12 The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. 

그 사도들은 많은 표적과 이적들을 사람들 중에서 행했다.

And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade.

그리고 모든 믿는 자들은 솔로몬 행각에서 함께 모이곤 했다.

5:13 No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people.

그들은 백성들에게 존경받는 존재였지만, 감히 아무도 그들과 합류하려 하지 않았다.

5:14 Nevertheless(그럼에도 불구하고), more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.

그럼에도 불구하고 더욱더 많은 남자들과 여자들이 주님을 믿고 그들의 숫자에 더해졌다.

5:15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

그 결과, 사람들은 병든 사람들을 거리로 데리고 나와 침대와 돗자리에 눕혔습니다. 이는 베드로가 지나갈 때 그의 그림자라도 그들 중 몇몇에게 드리워지기를 바랐기 때문입니다.

5:16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.

예루살렘 주변 마을에서도 많은 사람들이 모여들어 병든 자들과 악령에 시달리는 자들을 데려왔고, 그들 모두 치유되었다.

5:17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy.

그러자 대제사장과 그의 모든 동료들, 곧 사두개인들은 시기심으로 가득 찼다.

5:18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail.

그들은 사도들을 체포해서 그들을 공공 감옥에 가두었다.

5:19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out.

그러나 그 밤 동안에 주님의 천사가 감옥 문들을 열고  그들을 데리고 나왔다.

5:20 "Go, stand in the temple courts," 가거라, 성전 마당에 서라.

he said, "and tell the people the full message of this new life." 

그가 말했다. "그리고 이 새로운 생명의 충만한 메시지를 사람들에게 말하라."
