Remembering greatness through Black History Month.

The Tenby Schools Penang community celebrates the Black History Month throughout October, with the theme – Time for Change!

Students and staff were encouraged to research an unknown Black figure who has contributed across a range of fields which were then displayed on the exhibition boards at the school atrium. A selection of books written by Black authors and about Black people were also put on display in our library.

Through this initiative, the whole school managed to raise awareness about the Black community and embraced the different cultures in the wider community.
