Today, I spent a pleasant and meaningful time in Busan with Jessica, the daughter of Robert, a Canadian Haedong Kumdo instructor.
Jessica is currently living in Spain, and today she arrived in Busan by cruise through Japan.

We shared lunch together at Park Hyatt Busan, walked through together, and briefly shared the atmosphere and energy of Busan.

It was very impressive to see Jessica and her husband enjoying the streets of Busan, the people, and the feeling of the ocean with such warmth and curiosity.

Like Robert, both of them also carried a truly remarkable presence and character.
Their appearance, manners, and attitude were graceful and refined, yet at the same time warm, respectful, and approachable.

Even during a short meeting, it was easy to feel their intelligence, kindness, openness of heart, and the quiet richness of spirit they carried within themselves.
There was a natural calmness and dignity about them that made our time together feel very comfortable and meaningful.

Although our time together was short,
time spent with good people always remains warmly in the heart.

At the end of the day, I escorted them back to the international passenger terminal and said goodbye near their cruise ship before departure.

As connections between people continue across different parts of the world, and as we meet again through unexpected moments in life, I once again feel that the path of martial arts carries a meaning far beyond simple technique.

If I visit Spain next year,
perhaps we will meet again there as well.

With gratitude for all the moments we shared together,
another day quietly comes to an end.

오늘 캐나다의 해동검도 캐나다 사범 Robert의 딸 제시카는 현재 스페인에서 살고 있는데, 오늘 일본을 통해 크루즈로 부산에 와서 잠시나마 즐거운 시간을 보냈다.

하얏트에서 함께 점심식사를 하고, 광복동 거리를 함께 걸으며 부산의 분위기를 잠시나마 함께 나눌 수 있었다.

Jessica 부부가 부산의 거리와 사람들, 그리고 바다의 분위기를 즐겁게 바라보는 모습이 참 인상 깊었다.

짧은 시간이었지만,
좋은 사람들과 함께한 시간은 언제나 마음에 따뜻하게 남는 것 같다.

마지막에는 국제여객터미널에서 다시 크루즈에 승선하는 두 사람을 배 앞까지 배웅해주고 돌아왔다.

세계 곳곳에서 사람들과 인연이 이어지고, 또 그렇게 다시 만나게 되는 과정 속에서, 무술이라는 길이 단순한 기술 이상의 의미를 가진다는 것을 다시 한번 느끼게 된다.

내년 스페인에 가게 된다면
또 다시 만나게 될 것이다.

함께 한 모든 일들에
