Re:Psalm 19:1-14(KJV)

1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a taberacle for the sun,

5. Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

6. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto th ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

7. The law of the LORD is perfect, convertin gthe soul:  the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

He made me happy.

He made happy my heart which is poor in spirit.

두번째는 목적어가 길어져서 뒤로 가있지요?

마찬가지입니다.

making the simple wise. wise는 형용사로 잘 알고 계시듯 "현명한"입니다

따라서 단순한 사람들을 현명하게 만들고. 이런 의미가 되겠습니다.

8. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlighting the eyes.

9. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are tru and righteous altogether.

10. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweete ralso than honey and the honeycomb.

honeycomb 한 송이로 된 꿀, (덩어리 개념)

송이꿀, 저는 처음에 꿀의 종류중에서 송이꿀이 있나 했는데, 덩어리의 "송이꿀"이더군요

            잠언 16:24에서 KJV는 honeycomb로 나와있으나, 여기서는

            한글성경으로 "꿀송이"로 번역되어 있기도 합니다.

11. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

12. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength , and my redeemer.

'making wise the simple' 이런 형식은 KJV에서만 볼 수 있는 형태인지 궁금하네요.

그렇다면 make wise를 하나의 동사형태로 본다는 것인지?

아니요. God keeps me happy. 처럼. 흔히 말하는 5형식으로 사용된다는 겁니다. make/keep이 주로 여기에 해당한다고 우선 알아두시기 바랍니다.

God keeps happy me. 이것도 사용하지만, 목적어가 길때, 또는 강조하고자 할때 주로 이렇게 사용하는 걸로 이해됩니다.
