누가복음4:1-13 마지막 아담과 시험

누가4:1

공주야! 세례 때 하늘에서 예수님의 사명이 선포되었다. 그 이후 성령께서 인도 하신 그의 첫 사역 지는 놀랍게도 광야였고, 그가 한 첫 사역은 굶는 것이었다. 마귀의 시험을 감내하는 것이었다. 그것이 왜 예수님의 첫 사역이 되어야 했는가? 광야의 시험이 말해주는 교훈은 무엇인가? 예수님은 성령의 이끄심을 따라 인류 역사상 가장 놀라운 일이 벌어진 장소인 요단강을 떠나 가장 험한 곳으로 가신다. 고독한 자리이며, 굶주림과 유혹이 기다리는 인간적이고 원초적인 장소다.

Princess! Jesus' mission was proclaimed in heaven at baptism. Since then, his first ministry, guided by the Holy Spirit, has been surprisingly wilder, and his first is to starve. It was to endure the devil's test. Why did it have to be Jesus' first ministry? What is the lesson that the test of the wilderness teaches? Jesus follows the Spirit's leadership through the Jordan River, the place where the most extraordinary things have happened in human history, to the toughest places. It is a lonely place, a human and primitive place where hunger and temptation await.

하나님의 도움 없이는 살 수 없음을 확인하는 장소이고, 하나님의 소명을 기억하는 장소다. 그 광야로 인도하신 분이 성령이시니, 이제 그 광야의 시험을 이기는 길도 성령을 의지하는 것뿐이다. 오늘 광야의 현실을 살아가지만 성령이 함께하심을 꼭 기억하자.

마귀는 돌로 떡을 만들 수 있음에도 굶고 있는 것은 하나님의 아들에게 어울리지 않는다고 시험했다. 하지만 예수님은 우리의 살고 죽는 것은 저 떡이 아니라 하나님과의 관계에 달려 있다고 대답하신다.

It is a place to confirm‎ that one cannot live without God's help, and a place to remember God's calling. Since it is the Holy Spirit who led him to the wilderness, the only way to beat the test of the wilderness is to rely on the Holy Spirit. We live in the wilderness today, but let's remember that the Holy Spirit is with us. The devil tested that starving even though you can make rice cakes out of stone does not suit the son of God. However, Jesus replies that it is not that rice cake that we live and die, but our relationship with God.

말씀에의 순종, 그것이 하나님의 아들 메시아의 길임을 선언하신 것이다.  마귀는 자신에게 절하면 하나님의 아들에게 어울리도록 천하만국을 다스릴 권위와 영광을 주겠다고 유혹했지만 예수님은 거절하신다. 그 유혹에 로마  황제 가이사는 절을 했고, 그 권력으로 숱한 나라들을 짓밟고 거짓 평화를 만들었다. 하지만 예수님이 왕으로 계시는 하나님 나라는 군림이 아니라 섬김의 나라요, 착취가 아니라 베풂의 나라다. 진정한 권위와 영광은 하나님으로 부터만 나온다.

He declared that it was the way of God's son Messiah, the obedience of the word. The devil tempted him to give him the authority and honor to rule the world so that he could match his son, but Jesus refused. At that temptation, the Roman emperor Gaisa bowed, trampling on many nations and creating a false peace. However, the kingdom of God, where Jesus is king, is not a kingdom of reign, but of service, not of exploitation, but of giving. True authority and glory come only from God.

마귀는 성전 꼭대기에서 뛰어내리면 하나님이 받아주실 것이고, 그러면 뭇 사람들 앞에서 하나님의 아들로 입증 될 것이라고 유혹하지만, 예수님은 거절하신다. 굳이 확인받지 않아도 하나님이 자신을 얼마나 사랑하시는지 알기 때문이며, 사람들로부터 표적을 통해 인정받는 메시아가 아니라 십자가와 부활을 통해 메시아로 입증되는 것이 하나님의 뜻임을 아셨기 때문이다. 이와같이 마귀는 예수님을 세 번 시험하여 육체적 필요-권력-안전을 미끼로 사용한다. 

The devil seduces that if he jumps from the top of the temple, God will accept it, and then he will be proved as God's son in front of all people, but Jesus refuses. It is because he knows how much God loves him without being confirmed, and he knew that it is God's will to be proved as a messiah through crosses and resurrection, not through targets. In this way, the devil tests Jesus three times and uses physical need-power-safety as bait.

이것은 하나님께 충실하게 사는 삶이 얼마나 힘겨운 영적-육적 싸움인지를 보여준다. 이 시험은 십자가까지 이르는 순종을 요구하는 고난의 시작이었다. 한편 광야에서 사탄은 끊임 없이 속삭이며 유혹하지만 성령은 하나님에게로 가는 길을 비추신다. 의심과 우상숭배로 가득 차 있는 갈망의 자리에서 예수님은 순종의 길을 택하신다. 십자가로 가는 발걸음 만이 거룩한 승리를 이끌어 내고 우리를 영광으로 인도한다.

This shows how difficult a spiritual physical fight it is to live faithfully to God. This test was the beginning of the struggle that required obedience to the cross. Meanwhile, in the wilderness, Satan constantly whispers and seduces, but the Holy Spirit shines a light on the way to God. In a place of longing filled with doubts and idolatry, Jesus chooses the path of obedience. Only the steps to the cross lead to holy victory and lead us to glory.

광야에서 시작하다_begin in the wilderness

생명의 순종이 결정한다_The obedience of life determines.

군림이 아니라 섬김이다_It's not a reign, we serve.

시험이 아니라 신뢰다_It's not a test, it's trust.

주님 내게 있어 끈질기게 나를 늘고 물어지는 시험이 무엇입니까? 주님, 자존심 포기가 안 돼서 나오는 열등감임을 고백합니다. 광야 40년 동안 이스라엘을 입히시고 먹이셨던 하나님을 믿고 편법을 쓰지 않고 가신 그 길을 나도 따라 가게 하옵소서. 죽으면 죽겠나이다.

What is the test that you persist in asking me, Lord? Lord, I confess that I feel inferior because I can't give up my pride. Trust me in the desert, the God who had clothed and fed Israel for 40 years, and let me follow the way he went without expediency.
