누가5:1

공주야! 누구에게나 살아가며 겪는 중요한 인생의 사건이 있다. 그 사건들은 삶을 다른 시선으로 보게 해주거나 인생 길을 새로운 방향으로 이끌어 준다. 주님과의 만남이 베드로의 삶을 어떻게 변화 시켰는가? 시몬은 순종의 그물을 던져 은혜의 바다에서 기적을 낚아 올린다. 시몬이 "나는 죄인입니다. 주님"이라고 고백할 때, 예수님은 그를 사람 낚는 어부로 부르신다. 그 여정은 그가 무릎을 꿇는 것과 같이 순종의 여정이 될 것이다. 그를 창조하실 분의 손에 맡기는 행위이다.

Princess! Everyone has an important life event that they go through in their lives. They allow people to look at life from a different perspective or lead their way in new directions. How did meeting the Lord change Peter's life? Simone throws a net of obedience and snatches a miracle from the sea of grace. When Simone confesses, "I am a sinner. The Lord," Jesus calls him a fisherman who catches people. The journey will be just like he kneels down. The act of putting him in the hands of the creator.

갈릴리 바다에 잔뼈가 굵은 어부들이 이례적으로 밤새 한 마리도 잡지 못했다. 예수께서 제자들을 부르러 찾아오신 때는 그들이 성공했을 때가 아니라 실패했을 때다. 가장 전문적인 영역에서 가장 참담한 무능이 드러났을 때다. 그들이 고기잡이에 비 전문가였을 예수의 명령을 따라 다시 깊은 곳에 그물을 던졌을 때, 믿기지 않을 만큼 많은 고기가 잡혔다. 나의 경험이나 실력이 경력보다 더 주님의 말씀을 믿는 것이 믿음이며, 그가 제자다.

Fishermen with large bones in the sea of Galilee unusually failed to catch any of them overnight. Jesus came to call on his disciples not when they succeeded, but when they failed. It was when the most disastrous incompetence was revealed in the most professional areas. When they threw nets deep again at the behest of Jesus, who was not an expert in fishing, there was an incredible amount of fish caught. Belief is that my experience and skills believe in the word of the Lord more than my career, and he is a disciple.

시몬은 순종으로 잡은 많은 고기 앞에서 자기 자신과 예수님을 새롭게 이해한다. 혼자서는 감당 못할 만큼의 고기를 끌어 올리는 순간 그는 죄인이 되었고 예수님은 주가 되셨다. 누구나 그렇게 되는 것은 아니다. 우리는 대부분 끝까지 자신의 공로로 돌리고, 그 물고기가 자기 삶을 풍요롭게 해주고 안전을 보장해준다고 믿는다. 하지만 시몬은 달랐다. 그래서 그가 얻은 더 소중한 것은 물고기보다 예수님이고, 영원한 생명이다. 하나님의 말씀을 전할 뿐 아니라 바다와 물고기를 주관하시는 분을 만났다.

Simon has a fresh understanding of himself and Jesus in the face of many fish caught in obedience. He became a sinner and Jesus became the Lord the moment he pulled out more meat than he could handle alone. Not everyone is like that. We mostly credit ourselves to the end and believe that the fish enriches our lives and ensures safety. But Simon was different. So what he gained is more precious than fish is Jesus and eternal life. In addition to delivering the word of God, I met the person in charge of the sea and fish.

자신과 예수님을 새롭게 정의하는 순간, 예수님도 시몬에게 새로운 소명과 사명을 부여하신다. 어부로의 부름에서 제자로의 부름으로, 고기를 낚는 사람에서 사람을 낚는 사람으로 삶의 방향을 새롭게 정해 주신다. 단 조건이 있다. 새로운 사명과 정체를 수용하는 즉시 과거의 삶에서 떠나고, 과거의 가치관과 결별해야 했다. 시몬이 배와 모든 것을 버려두고 예수를  좇은 것은 자기 중심의 삶에 대한 전격적인 해체였으며, 예수 중심의 삶으로의 재 창조였다.

As soon as he newly defines himself and Jesus, Jesus also gives Simon a new calling and mission. From the call of a fisherman to a disciple, it renews the direction of life from a fishman to a fishman. There is a prerequisite. As soon as he accepted his new mission and identity, he had to leave his past life and break away from his past values. Simon's pursuit of Jesus, abandoning the ship and everything, was a sudden dismantling of his self-centered life and a recreation of Jesus-centered life.

때로 내 경험과 상충된 요구를 하신 주님, 불확실한 미래에 대한 염려로 근심하고 있나이다. 시몬과 그 동료를 안심시킨 것처럼 저를 안심시켜주옵소서. 예수님을 만난 베드로가 모든 것을 다 버리고 예수님을 쫓은 것처럼 나도 그렇게 되기를 소망합니다.

May the Lord, who has sometimes made demands that conflict with my experience, be concerned about the uncertain future?

Please make me feel at ease, as if you had reassured Simon and his colleague. Just as Peter, who met Jesus, abandoned

everything and pursued Jesus, I hope so.
